It'll be interesting to see what others SCS stampers have to share about this, but have you ever been to the Crackerbox Palace in Janesville? They have all sorts of unique stamps (as well as make their own, and can help you make an original stamp, too. I love them!) http://crackerboxrubberstamps.com/

Stampin' Up has a photopolymer set called "Calling All Heroes" - very cute, lots of eyes and masks and a skyline and even a stylized alphabet to write "POW" and such important phrases. <g>

Hello from Madison!

Other than the SU one that was mentioned, I have seen a lot of people using this Mama Elephant one, which has matching dies: TINY HEROES | Mama Elephant

From PTI:
Zappy Birthday stamps https://www.papertreyink.com/stamps/...day-stamp-set/
Dies https://www.papertreyink.com/pti-die...-birthday-die/
Comic Strip Cover Plate https://www.papertreyink.com/pti-die...mic-strip-die/
Comic Strip paper https://www.papertreyink.com/paper/c...ned-paper-pad/

Waltzingmouse:
Kaboom stamps Comic book style stamps, Kaboom stamps, Bam stamps - photopolymer clear stamps from waltzingmouse stamps | Waltzingmouse Stamps
Die Kaboom Die set from Waltzingmouse Stamps | Waltzingmouse Stamps

Uniko Studio:
Explosion stamps Explosion! |

All of these stamps are clear photopolymer, not rubber. I have all the PTI items listed, and will probably be getting the Waltzingmouse and Uniko eventually. The Comic Strip Cover Plate and papers are great.

I was just in Janesville for a funeral and to visit my brother in Mercy Hospital. Would have loved to visit this stamp store!
Maybe next time.

Sorry to hear about the reasons that brought you to Janesville. and all the best to your brother.

It's a quirky little place and it doesn't look like a store, so you'll want to have the address with you when you go the first time. I needed a hand made stamp for a friend's wedding invitation and they were wonderful and I've loved the place ever since.

I know you asked about stamps....but one of my daughters has EIGHT children, and the super heros in that family change way too often for me to invest in stamps for their cards.

I've made some really cute, fun cards with whatever character is their favorite of the moment - by googling the name of the character/cartoon, etc. and clicking on images. Then I find a cute one and print it out and incorporate it on a personalized card. Here is a recent example on a card for my 15 year old granddaughter who really likes a character, Izzy, from Super Mario. And for a grandson who loves Homestar Runner:
