Red face SU Wild Wasabi Cardstock

Hello! I have recently recieved a package of SU cardstock and I have no idea what its purpose is! LOL! It was un-opened and has a SU label on it that says "Wild Wasabi Card Stock Special" The UPC code # is 110294. The paper is texture cardstock & it has been pre-scored. The pieces are 4.5"x11.5". Each piece is scored 1" & again at 5.5". So if I fold it at the 5.5 score, it is not quite half way. It was given to me with a bunch of stamping stuff and I can't figure out what these were for. I have searched the 2008 Spring/Summer catalogue when Wild Wasabi was the "In-Colour" and I just can't find anything in there for this. Does anyone recall this cardstock and know what it was used for? Please help! Thank you.

Sounds like they might have been some of the note cards from a prior catalog...

If you fold on both scores, will it make like a matchbook cover?

That's what they are! Could not think of what the heck they were called!
Thanks Pam!

Hmmm...you have my wheels turning in my head ladies but I'm still not sure. If I fold it at the 5.5" score & at the 1" score, I still can't put the idea together. I'm just stumped. When I figure this thing out, I'm sure I will feel silly for not catching on sooner...but right now I just can't get it. Thanx for the tips!

I have some of those too; as I recall, they were cut wrong and were offered to customers for a limited time for a lower price. They make a really cute pocket for a seed package or other envelope of similar size to a seed package.

They were a mistake made by SU and then offered to demos and customers at a lower price. I bought some and they are just pretty much sitting here since. I have used some to use as pieces for Wild Wasabi punch pieces or scraps or whatever! LOL

Default They make cute mini albums

Yes, the paper was miscut by SU and sold to demos. I have used them for make & take mini albums. You will have to recut one side so the folds to the inside are even. And use strong glue (I use the Tombow) to glue down the edges of the inside folds. That's where people could put tickets or other small memorabilia or a git card. Cut 2 or 3 sheets of white cs to fit inside; punch 2 holes and thread w/twine or ribbon. Here's the example I did for the Holidays. HTH

I still have plenty of these and use them occasionally to make pocket cards. Now I want to try the matchbook card idea!

Thank you all so much! I was starting to worry I was crazy because I couldn't figure it out. I even started measuring my envelopes incase I was using one that was too small. LOL! This all makes sense now. Thank you also for the ideas for different ways of using them. Much appreciated! Enjoy your weekends!

If you fold the 1" part DOWN it can make a pocket card. That's what I did with a few.

Happy Stampin'!
