The tree punch is also a surprise especially when they had a great product with Sheltering tree. Why not come up with new items. I wonder how long it will take them to come up with stitched dies that everyone else has already come up with. Yes I understand they have to come up with ideas for a catty a year in advance, but these types of dies were out last year as well. I am not understanding some of these new products that are in my opinion "not so new". Just my two cents worth.
I agree on the bag punch board, but the tree punch and matching stamp set is nothing like the Sheltering tree set.
Personally this is at the top of my wish list now along with the Watercolor Wings butterfly bundle.
I'm curious, did the set of butterfly thinlits dies in the Occasions catalog make it into the new catalog? And what about the Butterfly Basics stamp set?

They have since loosened up on the sneak peak policies lately :-) We can show pics of stuff that they show us like at convention or other events and we can show the actual product once we get it! Yay! I wish my box would ship already!!!
Oh, you're in WI! Me too! I want to add I didn't send cards in my 30"s either!
I do know some ladies in their early 30's who come to my SU classes and they give out and send cards. Let's hope card making lives on!
Waving hi across the state from Appleton. I was married and had two kids in my 30's. I sent cards because everybody still did then. Glad to hear you have some younger stampers in your group.

I have Sheltering Tree and love it!!!
For me if I had to choose between the two if they came out at the same time, I have to say no question I would still pick Sheltering Tree. I also use more dies than punches, so that could account for my preference.
I will say like many here, sometimes you have to see the actual product demo'd or inspiration from others using a product. Then you get the "ah ha moment".
I was surprised to see that Petal Potpourri set did not make it into the new catalog, but the punch did. I need to get that bundle before the Occasions catalog ends!
Unlike most everyone else I didn't really like the Sheltering Tree stamp set, but I love that little tree punch set. It isn't supposed to look natural, just cute. And it definitely succeeds. Can't afford to buy much anymore, but I am quite anxious to see the catalog. The sneak peaks have been intriguing.

Another Wisconsin stamper here. I'm 32, and have several customers in their 30s (heck most of my friends). And a SU demo for 2.5 years now, and a cardmaker for several more.
Some items from each catalog get carried forward. There's holiday catalog items that carried over into the spring catalog, and now into the annual catalog. I like that there's not 100% turnover with each catalog so more inspiration keeps coming for some of the really popular items.

I love the tree punch! I like sheltering tree, but had not bought it yet. I love how versatile they made this punch. You could easily make a tree, a cloud, ice cream, etc. I can't wait until the punch art creators get a hold of it, because they always think of things I had never thought of.
Beautiful! I love the new watermelon and cucumber colors! I will definitely be ordering those. I love that there are some in colors for those of us that miss the bright bright colors we used to have.

Hi Makalah from the western boarder of WI! I grew up near Madison! Glad you're getting 30 something's to stamp! I'm a demo too, but mainly hobby. Loving the new catty!

I loved the tree punch before I even realized the RMH set had a tree that matched....then I was a goner! How fun will that be? I'd buy Sheltering Tree, but I have Branch Out, which is close enough.

I see they finally have white card base paper. Yeah! Overall not to impressed. Was not happy to see so many items from the occasion catty. I have looked at that catty so much that the stamps now feel like they have been around a long time. Not happy about hostess benefits. My 400.00 order will only get me 47.88 free instead of the 65.00.

Still collecting and organizing!
I just skimmed through the catty from the link that was shared a few posts back. I found at least five stamps I want! I'm sure there will be more once I have an actual catty in my hands!
I'm loving the new banner punch she showed at the end! Three different widths!
I wasn't interested in that one. I have the banners thinlets and rarely use them. I love punches though. I am about to wet my pants wanting to get my hands on that watercolor butterfly!!!

I rarely use the banner thinlits either, but that's because I can't find the right size. With the new punch you can punch three different widths and length as long as you want! Definately on my list. And so is that watercolor butterfly!

Thank you!! I hope no one got in trouble for this. I know we customers are anxious, but there's no need for anyone to defy SU's request to keep it under wraps until it's time for the official reveal.
Hmm, I realize that all the hostess benefits seem to be reduced, but what other stamp companies out there even give rewards?
Other companies may not have actual "rewards" but you can get free shipping from several of them which makes a big difference.
I just bought 10 packs of card stock from Michaels---It is on sale for $2 a pack of 50 sheets---yes it is thinner, but I was able to get primary colors and since I usually have layers on my cards it works well. I usually buy their thicker card stock to use as the base (its 110 lb---100 sheets) Regular price is $12.99 but I always buy it when I can use a 50% off coupon so it only costs me $6.50. I've started buying more and more of my stamping/papercraft stuff from them as well as Hobby Lobby since they have 50% off sales all of the time it's dumb not to, and I don't have to pay the big shipping cost.
I stopped buying the In colors ink pads a few years back, I used to get them all--and then I would run out of card stock and other stuff to go with them and was stuck with the ink pads---and run out of re-inkers I couldn't replace. I didn't even get all of the colors the last time they changed all of them and still like the older style pads because I've had trouble with the foamy ones. They are either over inked and foam up or dry out very quick---I've used up more re-inkers on these---I think it is their plan....???
I also am always looking for primary colors as well as a good baby pink and blue. I ran out of the papers I had I think the pink was pretty in pink cant remember the blue name---but I found some of the same color at, I think, Michaels.
I used to Love to see the new catalog, but don't really care right now.
