Unless I looked through the incorrect information, very few stamp sets are being retired. It looks to me like they are just getting rid of tons of colours, the sticker things that you stick on your wall, and a lot of ribbon and sizzlets. No biggie. Garden Whimsey is gone - but not the Lovely as a Tree - as far as I can read. No big shakeup at all. Actually disappointing at how few sets are retiring. Guess it will be the same old same old!

I counted 108 stamp sets being retired, which is what everyone was predicting. I'm new to SU, and all the stamp sets I still want will be available next year. (Happy dance!!)

Lisha...unless the Aussie situation is totally different, that's not the list. I couldn't find the Last Chance list on the Australian on-line shopping link. Here's the Canadian link:

All of the stamp set and accessory information is available to customers from the home page. They've made it much easier this year.

I think I see only one 'must have' set at first glance. Have to look in more detail.

Do you think the Australian retired list will be similar?

Ok my last post was only half finished lol,

I was meant to say that the Australian one doesn't come out until August :( And as I will be becoming a demo in Sept (when our new catty comes out) I kinda wanted to see if ppl think that the American deletions list would be a sort of in-site of what would be on ours as I want to get a few sets now to get me started but don't think retired stamps is a good idea

BTW to the person who created this thread (im sorry I cant see your name on this page) well done! you got lot of the retired ones

Ha, that's me Lisha! I'm Mindy! How did I do I wonder? I didn't even look...I was up till 2am...kind of lost my mind trying to keep up with everything by the end, LOL! I'll have to look how I did later on, I need to get the gym and then I'm doing my wedding hair and make up trial with my mom today, so I'm busy and excited about that!!! Why did I schedule all this stuff TODAY, LOL? Oh yeah, cuz took the day off for pre order! I SHOULD have taken tomorrow off too, duh! I'll know for next year, haha.

I really wasn't too upset with the last chance list, get to keep a lot of my favorite stuff! What's everyone else think? What are you losing? I'll try to come back later and post what I'm losing...need to get ready for Turbokick class and let the dog out soon!

I'm not losing anything I care about - so overall, I'm pretty happy.

I really didn't lose much at all - now to figure out how to justify buying more when I didn't lose enough!

so I'm not going to order any retiring stuff, I figure if I didn't want it all year, why want it now?

But I have this silly tradition of printing out the lists and cuddling up with my catalog and marking it up with them. Thinking, "Oh that was a cute set" or, "Wow I never noticed that set before today" or whatever. Silly I know. I'm really only a casual SU customer, but I like to be in the know. haha.

I do the same thing! I think it helps me say goodbye - and I hardly ever want to buy the retiring stamp sets. This time is no different.

Yeah I did it, I feel fine letting go of them but I needed to say goodbye.

I'm excited by what's going, I like to think that fun replacements will come in, a new sympathy set maybe? I'm just excited to get a new catalog.

Me, too!! and mine arrives tomorrow. I sat up until 3am this morning, looked through the retiring lists, the preview and expedited.

I'm going to miss Close as a Memory - I love that set. So, I'm hoping for another sympathy set, too.
