Pick-a-Petal, Curvey Verses, Totally tabs, & Simply Said have been around forever! I have all four and I bet they are going. Maybe not Curvey Verses. Short and Sweet too. I love Inspired by Nature and I'll get that if it goes. It's been on the retirement list. I thought it was such a popular stamp.

One of the demos in my group earned the new catty early through the recruiting incentive. She was allowed to show it to us in person, but we can't post about it.
So I'm reading the lists with interest. I so wish I could comment. . . . .

They will not get rid of all wood sets and all new sets will be offered in both.
Minders is right - there are old sets in the new catty that are available in wood only, all new sets are available in both wood mounts and clear mounts.

Many companies are announcing the end of their main lines in wood. I am very thankful for this from environmental, shipping, and storage perspectives. I hope that SU will do the same.
Not to start anything, but keep in mind that trees are a renewable resource, and the careful growing, harvesting and manufacturing of items from them provides jobs for thousands of people.
On a personal note, I don't buy clear stamps because of the petrolum used to manufacture them along with all the other chemicals, most of w hich are imported.
It's wood mounts for me, if I have to make my own.

we don't get to see our new catty in europe until september! :( I only joined as a demo last november and there are some lovely stamps that I haven't got yet but would love and will be in the same position come pre-order time as someone else said on here- not a big enough bank balance to get all the retiring sets I would like AND all the pre-order goodies!
I really have no idea; I'm terrible at this. I'll play anyway just to have a spot where I can list all the ones I currently don't own and would like.

I'm with you. There's a box of various sized wood blocks that I bought on eBay years ago and I'm still using them to mount my favorite rubber UMs. There's nothing like the feel of the wood in my hand, and my Stampa-ma-jig likes them too ;)
