I found the best demo ever on SCS!!! Between her and the gallery...well...let's just say I'm at the point where I have a whole decent sized room to stamp in and I am having to UM my staMps to fit it all. I buy SU paper, ink, and stamps...a few from other companies (SHH!) and my printed paper and ribbon I get from everywhere. I have recently gotten into theri punches lately, using my demos punches at her workshops eventually wore me down.

LOL! Erin, ya gotta jump ship and join us! You know you wanna! And what you're making with the pirate has brought me *this* close to buying it myself. ;)

I have purchased much much more SU because of this site... not so much sets (though there has been the occasional set <cough, cough> Office Accoutrement <cough, cough> that I just wasn't going to get until I saw things here, it's usually supplies that I hadn't looked twice at until I saw them used here. I have way more designer paper than I would have had without the galleries, I have reinkers because of the cool techniques shown here, I have the stamp-a-ma-jig because of Kurtis's cool tutorial, I have ALL the cardstock "just in case" I need to CASE something-- I have to have that particular color, don't I?

I have also purchased some non-SU things because of this site, but that wasn't the original question. ;)

My most recent purchanse due to SCS is the corner rounder punch so I can make the scalloped borders that seem to be the latest thing.

Yep, many items. Because now I can make sure there are plenty of samples for me to case and I won't be "stuck" with that cute set I had to have.
God bless.

I've bought several sets that I wouldn't have gotten if I didn't see them used, I also have found more creative ways to use my patterned paper so I'm not hoarding as much.

I'll go off topic from the original question a little too, I've also bought some non SU stuff b/c of this site  but I have to cut back on that since I find I'm not using it as much as my SU stuff, as someone else posted, I like when my stamps come with matching friends  I'm a sucker for matchy matchy, but I do love the Palette Noir for watercoloring. I hate the smell of Stazon.

DH was just sitting in my craft room with me today and just looking around really slowly. I hate when he does that, it's like he can see through the cabinet doors LOL

We just had a new furnance put in and that required me to move all my stuff from my stamping area! I have way more then if I would have never found this site! I love every bit of it and wouldn't change it.

My DH also was asking about everything and if I really thought that I would be using it. I guess I better get it put away so he doesn't start to look too hard and see how much is really there!

I buy things I would have never thought of because of the cleaver and creative things people have posted or spoken about on this site. Now while I make alot of outside purchases I make a heck of alot more with SU!

peer pressure man!
Usually it is from seeing great ideas in the gallery that make a lot of items must haves...and not just SU stuffs but I do buy more than I would without the influence of SCS. Reading the threads about products and hearing firsthand reviews contribute to my buying habits as well as the gallery projects

Um, I am way in the minority here. You don't have a selection for me -- I have neither bought more or less -- But about the same. One set in the last year. You can see, I'm not a very loyal customer. But I AM way loyal to this site (on here every day !)

To be absolutely honest, if anything, this site has encouraged me to purchase more products outside of SU!

Don't tell my demo, she's also one of my closest friends...But SU! doesn't have the variety I'm looking for. But as my DH would be sure to tell you that doesn't stop me from ordering SU every month...but I have learned through SCS to branch out. I see things on here I wouldn't see otherwise in our local hobby stores or scrapbooking stores.

Wow. Looks like SCS is a pretty powerful catalyst in purchasing for many of us.

Like many of you I also have bought non SU products because of this site. A Muse stamps, Crop a dial, Rubicoil and probably more. But I have also purchased a small room of SU stuff. Now I just wish I had a small room to put it all in! LOL

SCS is a spending excelerator big time.

Thanks everyone for participating.

99.9% of what I buy from SU! is b/c of SCS. I *rarely* buy b/c of my demo'rs stamp camps...except the designer paper. Would never buy it w/o seeing it.

Okay, I'm a demo, so of course I love SU! products and own a warehouse of stuff. But for sure, i'd have less stuff and may have even quit my demoship if it weren't for SCS and the galleries here! I also check the gallery for samples before I consider buying a stamp set from SU now. I use all of the sets I bought since I discovered SCS much more than the ones BSCS (before SCS). Smarter shopping.

That said, I'm about to fax an order in to Amuse on Weds.. And to my Memory Works consultant for some other goodies.. SCS MAKES me spend my money..... makes me feel real funny, makes me feel real loose like a long necked goose, like a... oh baby that's what i like!!

ROFL! That is too funny!

I have bought many stamp sets that were just ok, but after seeing them in the gallery, I just had to have them....

I indicated that I bought no more, no less. But I need to amend my answer. I just bout 4 sets from the Buy/Sell forum. All retired. But I have still only ordered one new set in over a year. Make sense?

I buy way too much. Sets that just *have* to have, but because of my limited stamping time I am unable to use them as much as I'd like to. I've purchased lots of SU and non-SU stuff (Papertrey, Amuse, etc.) that have gone unused still. I have great plans for them, but with so much else to do it's tough. If it weren't for a tax refund this year I would have run out of money long ago. I am addicted and must feed the addiction...I've never had it so bad like this!

I love SCS and buy more SU! stuff b/c I know if I can't think of something to do with something I bought, someone HERE already has!

It's no-fear buying. There's ALWAYS an appealing idea here!

Thanks, SCS. I have more fun with my SU! stuff b/c of all of you here!

Every single time I've thought I'd never use a certain stamp set or accent, somebody posts something fabulous that was made with it, forcing me reconsider... It's just a matter of getting a different point of view, so my choices were definitely influenced by what I've seen here.
