I just got home and tried it and it seems to work just fine. I actually think it left a better pool of ink than before....it's only the pad that's been reformulate (except for 5 colors) so the ink should be the same...it just seems to work much better on this form of pad!
Awesome! Glad I can keep coloring then. Thanks for taking the time to try it out for me and reporting back
Oh my Gosh!!! I must have those vintage buttons. The jury is still out on the In Colors. I do like them and will order the multi colored pack. Whether I order any individuals packs, will have to see. I own almost every color that has been out since 2006 and a few of the new In Colors look like some retired card stock I own. I will never use all the card stock I have now if I lived to be 100....LOL
Keep those sneak peaks coming ladies....Thank You, Suzie
Thanks so much for posting this... I still think I hate Summer Starfruit (I loathed Kiwi Kiss, and a squeeze of lemon isn't helping the color for me), but seeing how she used it with Lucky Limeade & Daffodil Delight at least gives me a few ideas for monochromatic cards. Maybe I'll be able to use up the sheets in the In Color collection pack I'll order on Monday. LOL.
oooooo, lalala those vintage buttons are beautiful.
I agree--they are super pretty! And I liked the hint of the DSP with the little butterflies too, because I am a sucker for butterflies.
Out of all the new colors, Gumball Green is definitely my favorite!
Thanks to everyone "in the know" who is giving us little sneak peeks. I am so excited for the catalogs to ship...thought I heard somewhere that customers may get them mailed to them before June 1st, which would be awesome. That might be wishful thinking, though.

Watch for a flood more of sneak peeks starting mid next week! A lot of demos are waiting until monday to place their orders because that is when we get our free catalog and can order extra catalogs.
And yes, I think that customer catalogs (if your demo selected for them to be mailed straight from SU) will start mailing in the middle of the month, so you should get them before June 1st. Enjoy!
Vicki Jayne, thanks so much for linking that blog with the comparisons. They are awesome, makes it so clear what to expect! I am more excited to see them now that I have seen what they are compared to. She did a great job
And I am also wanting to experience the new ink pads. My black is toast so I will order a new one of those quickly. Then I guess pick away as I can, I know I can't justify just ordering unless I need one.

Silly question.... I know it's been said a few times, but what are those
five colors again?
This is the first I've read this. What was the reason for reformulating those colors? Well, I can take a guess on our black that looked purple. What about the others?

Those colours were reformulated to work better on the new firm foam ink pads.

The purple issue with the black has actually been fixed for quite a while. I've had a pad for a few years now and it's very black. No purple in sight! :-)
