I love "leaks". They're so FUN. I think SU realizes they're an excitement builder. That Christmas DP looks incredible. Looking forward to the new catalog....after some more "leaks"!
Ugh, I'm going to CRY on May 31. I hate to loose poppy parade which I really JUST got to using a LOT this past year.
I really wish they would replace some colors with the in colors we are losing!!! I only use pear instead of celery now. I LOVE peach parfait and would gladly give up a pink for blushing bride!!!!

I agree!!!! I LOVE pear pizzaz! I LOVE blushing bride even more! I LOVE poppy parade too! I don't even use pretty in pink at all any more...I'm with you, Vicki Jayne, on that one!
Technically you have until may 31 but in past years they have sold out fast. My advice is to get what you want now. When they sell out they sell out. I predict it will be well before May 31.
Thanks for the sneak peak, love the new green! I've got to stock up on Pear and Poppy. I use them both so much! I received the "Smoochies" paper and Monday and it is soooo cute! I love the bright blues and reds. Wish I would have thought to stock up on Pear & Poppy...

No, in colors will not be certain colors. They are colors that are fresh and trendy right now. They keep out pallet fresh and updated so they could be any shade. They aren't made to replace any colors we lost. I should have samples posted of them on May 2 when I get my order!
Thanks Minders. And it will be interesting to see how they compare to the ones we are losing. I have to wait until September to see them in the flesh. Such a long way away. But on the bright side it does give be longer to stock up!!

I wish they'd have a pretty yellow like Summer Sun again. They only have 2 yellows that I'm aware of.
The yellows that they do have are pretty pale, too. (So Saffron and Daffodil Delight). When I need a bold, bright yellow, I find myself grabbing crushed curry again and again. I LOVE yellows, so it'd be great to have more!
I normally do not like bright yellows, in fact I was happy to see Summer Sun go. Until the other day when I got out one of my many sunflower stamps and realized that I have a problem. Now I miss Summer Sun and need to find a replacement. Their other yellows are too pale for sunflowers. And More mustard isn't right either. So a bright yellow would be nice. What I miss is Marigold Morning.

I'm not a huge yellow fan but I loved YoYo Yellow. Before it retired I'd see it referred to as YoYo Yuck. I still have a little YoYo left and it was never yucky to me! I do love Daffodil Delight and think it is a great replacement for YY.

We can't because we don't know yet!
But we will tomorrow when the catalog preorder starts. At that point, we can order those title benefit bundles and whatever other goodies they are going to let us order.

Yes! There should be everything in the bundles plus all the In Color cardstock, ribbon, markers, ink pads. We should be able to get all the stamp sets separately. We will be able to order the new hostess sets. There will probably be more stamp sets than shown in the bundle. There will be DSP, maybe a punch or a die or both. It's exciting!!
And NO, not wrong at all! I know a lot of people who want to wait until the 7th, though, so they can get the complimentary catalog. There are others, though, who will probably place one order tomorrow and another on the 7th. Not that I would know anything about that...

You are making me feel so much better about my plan. While I know it isn't a sound business decision, I am leaving on retreat Thursday and would love new things to play with. It will help that I have the new things to use while I have this uninterrupted time to make all sorts of things. Normally, I would wait until the 7th, but I don't want to miss the opportunity to get ahead, KWIM?
I read in one to the posts on SCS where someone made reference to stiched 1/4" grosgrain ribbon. I was blog hopping and came across what I think is new ribbon coming out. Check out the blog banner and could this be the blue in color someone mentioned?
The ribbon in that banner looks like the 1/8" they have out in the Marina Mist, maybe?

Please excuse the dumb question, but I am new to Stampin Up so I have to ask. Are all of the current colors being retired, or only the 2010? I just ordered the complete marker set along with some cardstock and ink pads, but if they will all be retiring, I need to stock up on the colors I really like. Would someone please be so kind as to fill me in on what is happening.

The only colors retiring are the "older" in colors. Concord crush, blushing bride, peach parfait, pear pizzazz, and poppy parade. Each set of in colors are around for two years. So, we will get a new set of five come June 1.
The ink pads that are retiring are not the colors but the STYLE. We are getting an improved ink pad in all the current colors. The markers will be available in family pack, the big pack and SOME individuals. Colors that don't sell well will not be sold seperately...only in the family pack or big set.

No problem but you better hurry. The in color stuff sells out FAST and I think some things may be gone already!
Yup, all the retiring in-color reinkers and the Blushing Bride cardstock. There is still 12x12 cardstock packs and some of the other colors of 8.5x11 cardstock but I'm guessing stuff will start selling out. And I LOVE the poly ribbon that is retiring with these colors, its so tempting to get extra since some of the colors are discounted right now!

I saw that ribbon on another blog. If that's what's replacing the 1/4" grosgrain, then I'm very happy.
I was concerned when I saw that ribbon on the retired list because most of my cards go to Operation Write Home and the bulky ribbons aren't recommended on the cards we send in. But I don't really care for the 1/8" either, I just can't get it to look right for some reason. But the 1/4" is a really good size for me.
I'll be checking later for those sneak peaks!

The dies are a different shape. And the set WILL be in the next catalog.
