"I have a quick question....in my version of Word it will not allow me to type in the numbers with a decimal....I am doing something wrong??? Is anyone else encountering this problem??"
This is awesome!!! I can't believe this!
I'm having the same problem LuAnn. When you get the answer, let me know, ok! Thanks, [email protected]
Thanks gals, that's a lot of work. I'll have to remember scan the cardstock and pick the colour. As mentioned everyones printer gives different shades, even my computer screen to my printer. Don't forget the dyelots of the same colour of SU cardstock can vary, you are looking to coordinate. And ink colours can be different when stamped on different types of white cardstock. Here is the few combos I came up with, my printer is an Epson Stylus C82
LOVELY LILAC
Hue 173 Red 124
Sat 241 Green 113
Lum 182 Blue 251
Orchid Opulence
Hue 191 Red 182
Sat 255 Green 109
Lum 182 Blue 255
SU Cameo Coral
Hue 246 red 255
Sat 232 green 113
Lum 155 blue 143
SU Ruby Red
Hue 0 red 212
Sat 188 green32
Lum 122 blue 32
I'll add you to my "update" list on this as well. That way, each time I "calculate" a new color, I'll be sure to send you the RGB figures so that you can add them to your list. How's the house hunting going?
Also FYI to all: I verified and confirmed that Doris' colors *do* work!! Thanks for sharing, Doris!! ~ K

Here are the finished *current* Earth Elements. I'll be getting finished with the rest of the color groups some time this evening, then will complete the new colors when I return from vacation in early June. (don't expect my order will be here before I leave!) ~ K

You girls are awsome. Had never really thought of using a different color then black when I was printing from my computer. You had me so excited I had to try it right away. When I got the results off my printer my heart started pounding fast with excitment. Thank you all for your hard work and sharing with others.
I haven't converted the PMS colors to RGB, but I have done most of them in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). I'm in the graphics industry, so this is the only process color system I use. I have several PMS books and they come in very handy. I just purchased a new set of two books (one for uncoated paper, one for glossy). With my discount the cost was around $99.
Okay...here are the Soft Subtles and the Neutrals...Still finishing the Bold Brights, Earth Elements, and the Retirings (so that if you want to pass these on to your customers, you can!)

Sorry, I just ordered my new C/S colors yesterday...and they won't be here before I leave for vacation. I'll do these after I return in June. ~ K

I think the only thing I can say is "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!" (I'd have done that from the rooftops, but it's raining here, so it's a bit slick. ;)
Seriously, thank you so much for posting all of these. You've saved a lot of us a LOT of time, and it is appreciated.
Hi, Stampinaholic! That sounds like such a cool way to do it.....would you mind giving further instructions about how you actually do that? Please???
Thanks, Pat
It works perfectly. I simply scan the cardstock into my photo editing software (I use Photoshop; other programs should work) Use the eyedropper tool to copy the color and then use the text tool to type. I can also copy the Pantone, RGB or CMYK values for the color I "sucked" up from the scanned cardstock and enter those values into another program such as PageMaker, Publisher, Word, Etc. Works pretty well...
To tell you the truth: I'm taking a brief moment to check my email - I'm still on vacation here on the Monterey Peninsula here in California (( ** LOVIN' IT!!! ** )) and have *totally filled* a 256k memory card...that's over 500 photos! We're going out again today and tomorrow, so we bought another memory card. I'm glad that I've got the colors all ready to go for journaling, because I've been taking notes like *mad* - even DH has been suggesting things for me to write down for my journaling! (Though he wasn't altogether too pleased that I got within 3 feet of an injured seal to snap about 25 photos!)
Talk to y'all soon!! ~~ K

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU KaylynConover!!! I needed to finish some birthday cards and came across this post. I printed all of your posts with the color info. for future reference, and then printed my cards... and they look GREAT! I have always tried to match the colors, but never thought to keep track of them.

I'm *BAAAAAAAAACK*!!!! OMGosh, it is taking me like 20 minutes to upload all of my photos....I'm so excited I could pee!!!!
I've got a Word document with all of the directions and the colors...if anyone reading this would like a copy, kindly email me or PM me with your email address and I'll send it off to you so that you don't have to duplicate the work...or even take the time to cut/copy/paste.
Let me know! I am *so* glad to hear that so many of y'all are enjoying this so much!!!!! I had been keeping track of the colors I had done and always wanted to do *all* 48, but just never had the gumption to get off my hiney to do it. Thank goodness for this thread - now it's done! Now I'm off to do my new colors - so check back in about 2 hours for the new twelve!! ~ K

On these twelve, I chose to include the catalog numbers. Until I start using the greens and yellows more, I'll have to refer to the numbers to tell them apart. And since I have boys and rarely use pinks, I am forever having to refer to my cardstock ring and stock numbers... HTH ~ K

HTH,
Lori
Lori -- I was thinking of taking the RGB conversions into CMYK since that is what I use as well, but if you would be willing to share. I mainly work in Illustator since it is what I'm most comfortable with.
I've bumped this back up as this is a great thread (and it is so nice to match your text with our SU! colors). However, I want to print on our dark color cardstock (basic black, choc chip, etc.) and can't figure out how to change the color to white and get it to print. I know that sounds silly and there's probably a very easy way to do it.... I'm just not that smart today (or most days!) I think I'm changing it to white but what I seem to get is invisible ink (nothing prints!)
Can someone help me? I want to make color charts and print the name of the cardstock on the back of each piece, but there are a handful of colors where "black" ink will just not show up. And I'm just anal enough (excuse me, precise enough) to not want to use a label on only a few.
Take pity on me and help!
Much thanks in advance!

With your run-of-the-mill home printer, you won't be able to print in "white." What you can do, though, is set the background (or highlight) to the color you want and then put the text in white. You'll get a reverse effect...you'll have to print it on white paper or cardstock though.
Guess I need to get a better home printer!! Thank you for the suggestion - clear as chocolate - I like chocolate (sorry, easily distracted!) I will give it a try!
Thank you again, Martha!
Sincerely,

Why is this on several posts in this thread? Are we not supposed to have this information??
**TEXT REMOVED DUE TO MEMBER ABUSE**
This may be the one (if I remember correctly) that was written about by the author of this incredible information that someone stole it off this site and was selling it on E-Bay as her own work. It may be listed somewhere else, not sure.
