Default StazOn re-inkers used as alcohol inks?

I just found 4 bottles of StazOn re-inkers that I don't have inkpads for. I'm thinking of adding them to my alcohol ink collection. I think that's why I got them in the first place. Has anyone used them as alcohol inks? How were the results? I'm going to try them anyway, but I was curious. Thanks!

You could also tint (as needed) white stencil paste for stencil work.

That's a good idea, @GypsyRoseStamper !

I tried using them the way I would regular alcohol inks, but they are too thick and don't move around or blend. They're very old, so they might actually have thickened over time.

I don't buy SU anymore cause of the cost, but I still use what I have. One of their demonstrators, really cool lady, started using SU reinkers with cotton balls & alcohol to make backgrounds. I decided to try it & it worked quite well. I wonder if that would work with StazOn which is a solvent ink? You put small amounts of reinker in a paint palette, and dip cotton balls in alcohol & then in the reinker. Then you smoosh it on Yupo paper. I'm not explaining this very well, but if you look up Frenchie on SUs web, she has a u tube instruction on it. Of course I still prefer my actual alcohol inks.
