Default Staz-ON on acrylic block

Does anyone have any tips for removing Staz-ON from acrylic blocks? I let my 6 year-old do some stamping a few weeks ago and she was incredibly messy with her inking. So far, I've tried Staz-ON stamp cleaner, which has been ineffective. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

You might try Purell or other hand sanitizer, but not the alcohol free kind. Good luck!

StazOn has worked for me, but might be what has caused slight crazing. (Only slight, and only after years). Ultra Clean also works well.

I would try rubbing Alcohol. It takes sharpie off all kinds of plastics. If that doesn't work I might try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

Good Luck

I had a very badly stained block from stamping a lot of index images on acetate. I used dish soap and a Vileda scrubby sponge (the one with the plastic scrubby part on one side and sponge on the other - made for cleaning teflon coated pans).

I've used Simple Green with great results - you can find it at Home Depot, Walmart etc and its a fab product...

Don't use rubbing alcohol or Stazon cleaner...or any type of solvent cleaner or window cleaner (including vinegar). These all cause crazing (teeny crack) in the acrylic. One thing that does work is Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (one side is white). In fact, these Erasers are also terrific for cleaning up cutting boards and counter tops; I couldn't believe the junk that sponge removed from my cutting board. I use either the real (aka, Mr. Clean) or generic ones. Depends upon how often I get to the dollar store!

I have a Mr. Clean Eraser upstairs. I think that I'll try that first. Thanks ladies.
