Default Standard or Jumbo wheels?

I don't have any of the wheels and am considering purchasing a few. I intend to use them for cards. Any advice on which size I should start with?

Well, I find the jumbo wheels a lot easier to use. I'm less likely to tilt the wheel as I am rolling it onto a card. There is however a larger choice in the standard wheels right now, but I think jumbo wheel selection is growing. I have both sizes but in retrospect I may used them more if I started with jumbos. They do give different looks. Well this is pretty wishy wasy, but I hope it helps.

I would start with the Jumbo wheels first personally, because they are easier to tame than the regular size. After you get the hang of it then roll away girl!!

I wish that they had the Jumbo wheels when I started, then maybe I wouldn't have taken so long to get the hang of the whole wheel world!

Enjoy!
Val

ok i usto be very skeptical when it came to wheels because i just hated them..did not have reason by the way. when my standard came in the demo starter kit.it hung on the wall for the last 7 months... then i had a friend that needed the jumbo so i bought it for her... then she bought one and so i had an extra so for the heck of it i bought the wash day wheel cause i have ewanted it but not for use of the wheel... but you know i looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooove it now i use it for all my baby welcoming cards and they have all come out so nice..... just get both ... then you have a vast number of choices... i go nutty for wheels now.. i cant wait to have them all... hot -to dot is my fave....good luck on deciding.... did i mention i was the president of the i hate wheels club....
so you gotta get just one of each and see what you think

Thanks for all of your suggestions. One further thing ..... any special tips on how I should use the wheels? From some of your comments it seems the wheels are not considered easy to use and may take some practice.

Oh You GO Girl!!! Roll your Heart OUT!!! I just made some flyers for a stamp get together and used the new jumbo heart and just wheelie over the top of them for a nice gentle background. Really made the flyer POP!

I have some "ha" of both, and I really like them. Roll on white tissue paper and you got your bag filler ready to go.... They are easy to use... I think we try to make them harder than they are... SU even has a line up tool if your wheelin up straight lines together.... If you do a search on here, you'll come up with all kinds of helpful hints also.... Good Luck.... It's FUN!!! Wheel Away!!

Jumbo Wheels Rock! I only have one standard-size wheel and NEVER use it. I like using a straight-edge (ruler or something like that) to keep everything nice a lined up. Have fun!
