I have one of these that I just used for the first time this weekend. It works great! really not much assembly at all - the base card is cut all in one piece, then you just add mats that you can cut out with the individual dies.
I have a cuttlebug and they work great. And there are videos on you tube for an extra fold to use the whole half of the paper. Hope that makes sense.
Love the 'Flip-it' die sets. Everything is done for you as far as the card-scorelines, mats, embellishment decorative strips. and there are sentiments.
The extra section gives more writing room or with the sides adhered, you have a pocket for money or a gift card. Check for a video tut for how to add the extra length to your card base. (I need to see rather than read how it's done.)
I really like the Framelits set better than the thick dies because you get so much more per set and they are in those plastic envelopes that are much easier to store.
Went to a class locally by Stephanie Barnard in Feb. We used the Framelits 'stand-up' style card set. I ordered then and got my set the end of March but I don't think they are in her store yet. She showed one recently but it had a notation a 'coming soon'. I think when the sets are released, they will be like the 'flip-it' set. Mine came with multiple dies.
