Default Stampin Up website trouble

Is anyone else having a problem placing an order today? I have been trying to place an order for a day and a half and I keep getting an error message.

I sent an email to my demo maybe it's just her website. I keep getting a message that says The stampin up website is experiencing difficulties at the moment. Please try back at a later time.

Hmm.....I didn't have any trouble and I've not heard of any demos having trouble. Most of them have said it went very smoothly. Of course we all ordered through the demo site and I haven't had any customers place orders yet, so I don't know.....

You might need to clear your browser cache. It was offline from midnight to 2 AM MT for the transition - you might have that error cached.

I was able to place my order without issues.

I have had problems in the past during (Ie, during free shipping week) where the site was overloaded and would disconnect me before I could check out.
But I was always able to get back in after a couple of tries, My cart was saved so I could then check out as normal.

Cleared browsers cache even tried using a different computer and still can't place an order. I've never had a problem ordering in the past. Emailed my demo earlier but haven't heard anything. Thank you to those of you that tried to help.

Have you gone straight to stampin up, and not clicked through from your demo's SU page? You should be able to just add your demo at checkout.

I just went to Stampin' Up! - Scrapbooking and Design Software - Tools - Kits, then clicked on "Store". Everything worked fine. Try that. If that doesn't work, you have some sort of problem on your end.

This link should not take you to your Demos website her URL would be different. Try clearing your cache again and reboot your computer. Also delete any saved links to your Demos website, i.e. Favorites, Top Sites if you have a Mac and from your desktop. Another thing I've had to do when having a problem getting into a site, again after clearing cache, do a Google search for the site, StampinUp. Click on their link from the search. Hope you're able to this problem cleared up. Also make sure you are trying to get into StampinUp. COM not NET. I believe the demo sites are .Net.

i just wanted to say that if she clicked on a generic url but had her demos web site saved - the url might have re routed. i don't know that for sure but it would actually be a cool feature if it did automatically re route. anyway, good luck to the op good mojo

Well, it wouldn't be cool of SU to reroute from the store link to the demo's page. You can't shop on the demo's personal page; you have to link back to the SU store.

Try using a different browser. I know Stampin' Up! doesn't like some browsers. I think Safari is one and I'm not sure about Netscape.
I know Firefox works

Chrome works fine too.

Netscape is considered obsolete. Support is discontinued. Very few sites test to Netscape any longer.

I had my computer guy look at my computer and it's not my computer. Computer guy tried to sign me in on his computer and we still couldn't get in. I called Stampin Up today and gave them my info and they get the same error message so they are sending to tech support and will get back to me. Just thought that I would let all of you know what's going on since you have been so helpful.

Wait...so, are you saying you can get to the site, but your login credentials fail? If so, we were all trying to solve the wrong problem, LOL. If that's the problem, only SU can fix that.

Maybe a wrong password? Has she changed it recently?. I'm glad I'm not IT person. That's so frustrating.

Did you try the "forgot your password" option to get a temporary password to use and reset your log-in?
