pg 7 of the new mini the top set Bold Blossoms- why is this in the new mini when it is an old set? Just got my workshop order in and a friend of mine bought it??? After we looked through all our goodies, I was looking through the new mini and noticed it -
I just went through the regular catty and it is not in there? How weird is this???
It is not in the regular catty, it is in the current mini.

Oh fun--the link is out! Can't wait to see the mini in person. I am excited about this one and have lots on my list. So excited for several of the stamps and other items. And once I see the fun creations from all the demos who get it early there will be even more. Fun, fun, fun!
I am so excited about the Flower Fest st. I can see lots of possibilities with that one. The embossing folder will also be added to my stash. There's some nice things in this one.

Just saw the 2011 Summer Mini Catalog. I wasn't too impressed... Joy
There are a few things I really want, but this mini is not as exciting as the crurrent one. Maybe this is because the big catty will be coming out in July.

Yes, the current mini really "wowed" me and I bought more than any other year...still ordering from it and planning on more!
The summer mini still had a few things I "needed"!

I'm thinking she meant that the link was out (as in posted for us to look at). I, too, thought she meant it didn't work, but went in and took another peak.
I love the Nautical Sets. So one of them has paper to go with it. (talking about the new Mimi coming out) I grew up on the west coast and I love the ocean.
I have spent a small fortune on the Mini but I'm done buying out of it...I think! I may buy some more of the seam binding. I just love it.

Haven't gotten any of the seam binding yet...can you believe that? Getting all three with my last order in two weeks. I think there is three...pear, cherry and baja, right?

No,there are a bunch! They are in the occasions mini. I don't have it handy, maybe 6 or 8...

Thanks for the link and peek, the nautical ones are very nice and probably, the only ones I would even think of getting. Nice to see that SU has finally picked up on bakers twine. The software studio, coming down in price as well. Might go for it as a download.

Don't the seam bindings in the Occasions mini go through April 30? I think they do, if someone could confirm this!
Yes, probably just a mistype...and it gets confusing since demos get to order summer mini stuff Friday and with SAB ending...
SO yes, the occasions mini is good until the end of April!
That's what I thought! (I'm a demonstrator and should have known this, but I seem to have such a shortage of ALL catalogs lately, even my own personal copy has gone "missing" - along with my memory, apparently!)

looked at the mini today...I think it's just me but nothing really jumped at me and said BUY ME, BUY ME!! there were a few sets that were my taste and would have normally jumped at but i already have sets similar that i haven't even inked yet. i know... i know...stamps that haven't seen ink,,, the Horror! and as much as i love the bright colours in this mini my creative abilities are of a more subdued colour pallet so there won't be anything really from this mini for me. hope the new big catty has much more cool stuff. this is just my Option and hope to see the wonderful stuff you all create with your mini purchases. depending how awesome your creative skills are you may just convince me otherwise ;)

There's not much in it that wowed me and I already have a postage stamp punch. I also noticed the Designer Paper packs have gone up a dollar (US) in price. Sigh. :(
I like the Occasions Mini much more-have a fairly large list I need to order this month-and I didn't get anything from SAB this year.
I know we just started the SU April preorders, but does anyone know if there will be May preorders? I thought I read that somewhere but can't find it now.

Ahhh...that is kind of a special deal, I would not expect anything else like that to come along. May is national scrapbooking month so there will be a promo for that but no sneak peek ordering....you'll have to wait until the catalog in Jule (I said June but was thinking you were a demo, sorry!!!!!!).

I got my copy in the mail yesterday. I don't see anything I absolutely have to have in this one, but the card samples in it really wowed me this time. I'm loving all the bright, cheerful colors! SU did such a good job of improving their brights, and I think this catalog really shows that. I'm definitely getting some inspiration from the samples this time around.
