The markers are great (try them first if you can) but the watercolor pencils aren't the greatest. They work well, but they are kind of an odd mix of colors and they don't match the SU colors like everything else does. Have fun shopping!
I love everything Stampin' Up! (which is good since I sell it!) I first started converting to all SU because of the quality of the cardstock and the fact that everything coordinates....cardstock, designer paper, ink, markers, ribbon, etc. Depending on your budget you could get an assorted pack of cardstock from one of the color families, some matching ribbon, markers or stampin' spots (small ink pads) and designer paper. WIth those supplies you could coordinate colors with accessories and stamps you already own.

I have both the pencils and the entire set of markers...I love the markers. They are great for inking up different parts of a stamp in different colors....like pink flowers and green leaves. I limp by with the pencils. They are not great as they really are an odd mix of colors (as stated above). I'm NOT in love with the markers for coloring. I don't have copics. I do not have a lot of stamps that are great for coloring anyway.

I agree with the above. Buy all the supplies you can get, then decide what type of stamps you like and go for it. If you have access to a SU catty, you might check prices to compare. Good luck, and have fun shopping!
Go with paper, inks, punches, and markers. Those are my favorites and keep me loyal to SU. I've found a demo going out of business and bought some stuff, but wish I had stuck to these items.
if you have a hard time deciding on stamp sets, bring up the gallery of any sets you like, and that will help you decide. Punches, are a nice addition to cards, especially if you have stamp sets that co-ordinate with them. You can do a topic search on this site to check out co-ordination of stamp and punches. For cardstock, I would go with color combo
challenges on this site, to make great cards.

I'd buy punches, but sort of basic. I love the Word Window and scalloped circle. This one is great for making your own flowers. If I could do it over, I'd buy the SU photo corner punch because of the size versatility.
