Default stamp sets for twin birth

Hello everyone.

I have a very wonderful friend that is having twins and I have nothing in my stamp stash (darn have to go and buy something...LOL) that has to do with twins or anything remotely related to two babies. I have a few baby sets but not a whole lot since mine is now almost 16. I know SU had a set last year (can't remember name off top of my head), any others that any of you fabulous, talented, and creative people know of.

Thanks for the help!

As a mom-to-be of twins, I have come across a few. Su's is called By Ones & Twos, but is retired now... you can probably find it here in the Buy/Sell if you do a "in search of."

I did just find a few sets from The Angel Company, and they were on sale 50% off until the end of the month (I believe). I unfortunately don't remember the names of those sets (one was just sayings for twins).

So far that's all I have been able to find, hope this helps you out, and if you come up with more, let me know!!!

I have a High Hopes Stamp that could be adapted - Precious Cargo with some masking or layering - Its one of my reasons for getting it because pink, blue, two or more it is very adaptable. HTH.

I needed the same thing last year, and I couldn't find anything so I made this card instead. I was pleased and I didn't have to buy anything special.

That is such a great idea! Love the card and I could do that with the few baby stamps I already have...just stamp two of them. TFS

I love High Hopes stamps...they are the greatest. Why do I not look at a stamp like that and think I could use it for twins??? I guess I always think that it has to be two of something. I like the idea of using a stamp I have and stamping two if that image...but would love something that actually said twins.

I know Stamping Bella has a real cute one with two babies...that just may be an option and darn, have to place another order :-D

Default Two cards for twins!

Friends who have had twins in the past have told me they wished more people would send two cards, so each child would have his or her own collection in scrapbooks. So when a friend of mine had twins, I made two cards, one for each of the girls. The cards were identical except for the names, which I spelled out with 1/4" letter beads strung on elastic cord.

Look at PTI's Bitty Baby Blessings. I absolutely love this set. It can adapt to twins, adopted children etc. I use it for all baby cards. (PapertreyInk.com)

My standard gift for a new mom is some easy thank you notes. I made some last week for twins and used SU's Wild About You. I just stamped two giraffes and then a thank you on small panel cards. They turned out really cute.

 yeah, and the years of one card and one present for two kids - its not always fun being a multiple.

I think that would be a great idea or even a double image but with one child's name more prominent. and then doing it again but opposite, for the other child.

Also remember you can reverse image - I haven't done it so don't know how faded the second image is but it could be an option.

I don't have a very big stamp stash and had to adapt what I had for twins:

TAC also has a really cute sentiment set to do with twins. Currently all their stamps are 50% off. Great time to try them out.

Just a thought - but you could do two same similar cards but cut them out to look like a onesie etc. I'm pretty certain there is a template in the template section or a link to one.

The Angel Company has a cute "Twins" set. which really cute! I made a really cute card with this set. I did mine in Greens and Blues for boys.

TWINS This set has saying like: "A double Blessing, Twins twice the fun.

It also comes with a Hat, Duck pull toy, Bear, Stacking ring toy, a Stork with a bundle of twins, and blocks.

As a daughter of an identical twin and a mother if identical triplets, I must say it is always nice when people remember that they are individuals not a set. I really like the idea of two cards and one child's name being more prominent on the card than the other. And you certainly don't need a special stamp set. You can just stamp two of something and on the computer generate your own sentiment. There a lots of ideas for twin sentiments.

When my triplets were born, for the most part, we did get 3 cards (one for each child). I have saved them all, and the girls will take them with them someday. Have fun making your card (s).

Oh my gosh...you guys rock.

I would have never thought of using my Wild About You set or anything like that.

Also, I am so glad to hear about sending two cards or three (triplets). This is so helpful and greatly appreciated.

Again, you guys rock!!

I agree with sending seperate birth cards so that they may be kept for each child. A friend asked my to make a twins card for someone leaving work as I didn't have a twin stamp and wasn't going to buy one and may never use again I had my first attempt at masking. A friend has this lovely baby stamp so I masked it and coloured the clothing in different colours. I was very happy with the result here .
