Since I happened upon this place I have had no need to visit another site--this one has everything I need! I echo what everyone else is saying about the resources, support, and friendship that makes this place amazing!
What? There are other sites out there? I vaguely remember surfing other sites months ago. Alas, I havecome to my senses and now that I have found Splitcoaststampers, I may never leave!
I am just going to say "DITTO" to everything that has been said. I have truly found more of a family here than I have sometimes with my own blood relatives (sad but true). The people here are very understanding on any situation no matter what and they are willing to go to great lengths to help out a total stranger, and if you think about it, we are strangers except for the cyberbond that has pulled us all together. I would love nothing more than to actually meet each and every person here who has inspired me and helped me just by loading their art into the gallery. I am creativeness challenged when it comes to thinking up my own ideas. That's one of the things that makes this site so great is that no one minds if we use their art work. I will say again and again, THANK YOU TO DAVEN and his crew JENN AND BEATE who keep this site going. I have never gone to other sites and don't have a desire to. This is all the site I need.

This is by far the best stamping web site I have run across! I tell that to my customers too. I joined in May and there were 10,000 pictures of art in the art gallery. Now there are over 20,000. Astounding! And yes, you can get an answer to your questions lickity split. Sometimes I think everyone is rushing to get you the answer fast before anyone else can. Like - Ooh, ooh pick me(hand raised in the air Horseshack style. Does anyone remember Welcome Back Kotter or have I just dated myself?!) I digress. There's no place better!

I LOVEthis site!!!! I used to go to 2 P's all the time but then I found THIS site and haven't looked back!!!! I am on here ALL day (thank goodness for HIGH SPEED). The gallery is SO awesome and everyone is SO supportive!
Before SCS - I had maybe 12 idea gallery sites that I checked on a regular basis. Now I have ONE - #1 - the ONLY - SCS!
Besides the aforementioned reasons for spending your non-stamping time here:
*Frequently updated resource tutorials
*Cards to troops
*Online births
*Online baby showers
*Online venting when life hands you lemons
*Easy uploads of you own art AND supportive comments
*Help at a keystroke for recipes (food), get-togethers, stamping problems, scads of beautiful art samples
*the friendliest, sharingist, funniest, group of stampers ever gathered in one place.
*a selfless webmaster that puts up with 12000+ stampers (and maybe even enjoys it)
I am a fan of SCS of course. I have been looking at 2 peas lately just because I just recently heard of them. Read for a while last night and OUCH! People were very rude to one another. Literally writing that certain people were "HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE" people and all out debates on politics, abortion, with name calling and just overall meanness to one another.
I love this site. SU users I don't think can find a better or more helpful place. Seriously, if you have a question, someone will answer it. Yes, there have been debates that have at times turned unpleasant, but I do think those are the exception, not the rule. If that ever changes, i may look elsewhere, but I do not see that coming for quite a while.

Hey what about the Darth and Enrique stories? You're not gonna find that on any other site!!!!! That my friends is a freebie. Even my publisher doesn't know for sure.....
What else is there to say?? Everyone has said it all. There is NO place like SCS. I spend all my time here minus a few minutes on the SU website. I don't know what I would do without this place. Everyone is so friendly & willing to help. Now that's a great family to have!!!!

I've been on other boards (including 2 peas & CK) and there is no place like SCS. Everyone is so nice here and so supportive & we all have a passion for stamping & SU. I said it 8 months ago when I joined -- "there is no better place on the web" and I believe that even more today. Kendra
SCS is the place to be. How could anyone have time to spend on another site. Everyone here is so friendly. The joint creativity of this group, and the way you all pull together is fantastic!!! Sometimes I spend so much time here that I don't get any stamping done. :lol:

I started out just browsing the gallery, but this place got me through not going to the SU convention this year...wasn't that just yesterday? with minute by minute highlights and my first look at this year's catalog's cover.
Did even the SU demo site do that for me? No!
Then right into the birth of Cole! Where else does a woman take the time to post: "My water just broke!" before going to the hospital?
This place is amazing!
We will tell our grandaughters about what happens here!

I'm with you guys, like it or not! :lol: I also started out here by just browsing the gallery but got hooked for good by reading the forums. You are all SUCH great people! Obviously I still browse the gallery but it's the people that keep me on for so long during the day!

My apologies, Darth!!! How could I have been remiss in not mentioning the fabulous pennings about Darth and Enrique? Please forgive me. I LOVE those escapades and salute the talent that creates them. Yet another factor that tips the scale to SCS
I went to take a quick look at 2 peas. There's a distinctly different "feel" to the sites and I prefer SCS. I really enjoy the light heartedness that is here. Besides, where else would I have a chance to meet so many famous people - Olympic team members and royalty?!! (Robin is the best!)
For the record, I'm not the only one who did a good deed for the day and sent something to another SCSer. In fact, it was reading that someone else sent flowers to an SCS friend that put the idea into my head. I don't send flowers unless I know the recipient is not allergic to them so I was thinking of other options. Ben & Jerry's came to mind just as I came to Rhonda N's (rnesin) post mentioning (B&J's) Half Baked. So, it was really a team effort.
qcbetty - I was not giving you the evil eye! I was rolling my eyes and thinking would you people just let it go?! It's not like I cured a terrible disease nor would my family be making huge sacrifices because my DH is serving our country in Iraq.
Ditto to everything! I spend way too much time here! I just recommended SCS to my club. Sharing card ideas is great. Joining SCS was like getting an instant stamping family. No weird uncles, but some pretty insane sisters! In a SKW!
Well.......I have a friend that is a 2 pea’s lover. I didn't ever go back after my first visit......just didn't appeal to me, don't know why.
I love it here and feel so close to SO many of these ladies. I can be having the worse day and get on here and feel the love and support. SU is the commonality and we all love it!!! So...... we are a bunch of nuts that feel each others joys and sorrows, help each other with ideas and techniques, and have secret agents behind the scene that do incredible things. there are even secret passages. hehehehehe( don't ask, I am not tellin;!)
"The stamper's community"........that says it all! Plus......we have so many award winning artists that are willing to share there art for free! Sheesh.......even a peon like me can have a gallery. It is truly the best. It's Lannariffic baby!
Plus you can even make up new words! Lannarrific? LOL!
Oh and Darth! What would SplitCoast be without you, baby? It brings me back to the days when I called you Debby with a y! LOL! Ho hum. Life is so good!
I wish I could remember who said it - shortly after I joined SCS - someone said, "I feel like I found my people!" Ditto! Sharing ideas and laughs with so many people who love the same hobby is phenomenal!

Gotta add Ditto to that! However, Darth's Daily dreams have been few & far between lately. Darth --- quit that secret mission stuff and get on here. There are tons of newbies that have not yet gotten to fully appreciate you!!!!!
I used to be an avid surfer of 2Peas, but since I joined here I have only occasionally been back. There is way more personality here, and I love the feeling of community that is here. Its like you can really get to know the people on this site, and count them as your friends. 2 peas just doesn't have any of that.
You guys have certainly added some humor to my days! I have to agree with their being a different personality over here...not in a bad way either. Just perkier and I like the faster pace! Thanks! I'll be stampin' all day tomorrow so I'll have to start a gallery!
SCS is much faster, more options and to me more organized...(?)..I tried to do 2peas and was VERY frustrated at the time it took...I am an avid SCS and love it her....
