Default Spin off of sorts (sticker shock)

What is the largest single order you have placed or the most money you have spent in one trip at a craft store?

I think to date, mine is about $400.

Howz about you?

Oh gosh - that's scary to think about! I think I've blotted most of those moments out of my memory - lol! No but really, I've been papercrafting so long, I honestly don't remember... I would guess around $200.

you mean for real? Or in my head? lol! Actual purchasing would be around the $275 mark. In my head, wish list shopping, I think I've hit 4 digits!

If we include online shopping I spent $350.00 last month for SU products so that I could get $25.00 bonus dollars. I know I'm crazy.

I forget how much I spent when I bought my Cricut Expression but it was over $200.00.

$200. I always put in a big order on my own parties. But that is the most I have ever spent at one time. Think my dh would pass out if I spent more than that.

Before I was an SU! demo, I got to use a big chunk of a tax refund and ordered about $400 at once. As a demo, I order little bits all the time so that record will stand until I hit the Lotto.

$1500. It was for French-language stamp sets from Canada. This was back in 2006 when the US dollar was actually worth less than the Canadian dollar. But I only spent this large amount once, because it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The next highest average amount has been about $300.

I sold a TON of old scrapbook stuff ( I used to scrapbook ) at a scrapshop, this March and made $150 worth of store credit. I spent that plus $11 of my own dollars (Tax - would you believe it!!). So I spent (sorta) $161, that's the most I have ever spent at once. (It was so much I almost choked, even thought it was "free"!!). But I should have waited until we had a little bit extra so I could have added another $60 or so so I could have felt like a Million Dollars!! LOL

I think it was a Joann.com order for $200+. They were having a good sale on stamps and spellbinders, I think :-)

$118 with tax and shipping on my July SU order.
I certainly got my money's worth .
My Demo had an open house for the new catalog. She gave us small samples of all the new colors , supplied all the materials for 2 cards for each of us to make , door prizes plus yummy treats so I planned a large order.

She gave everyone with an order of $100 + ( before shipping and tax) a free ink pad of an in color AND a 1/2 sheet of each of the new colors . She had quite a few orders over $100.
She puts a lot of time and money into her open houses.

On Stamping I'm not sure what the most would be, but it would pale in comparison to what I've spent on other crafts, in particular clay arts.

In an actual store? Not more than about $50...Stampin' Up! I ordered just over $300...during Sale-A-Bration and got TONS of freebies, so it was so worth it!

I try to forget I spend somewhere in the $150-200 range with my SU demo once or twice a year when its my host month in the club. Usually, my orders are in the $30 range each month. I've spent more when buying big stuff (Big Shot, Cricut, etc.) and when I just got started and HAD to have it all. I know my starting-out-scrapbooking sprees were pretty bad, too, but that was before child and before horses so there was a lot more fun $$ to go around.

Oh I miss those days lol. SSH dont let anyone in my family see this it has to be our secret lol. prob $300+, but hubby was told under $100.00 lol.
But I did go to Texas a few years back and it was a stamping/scrapping, buying spree, I spent $1000.00 mostly on embellishments and paper lol. But my friend bought me a circut and that was the year they first came out.

Same here! That's exactly the thought that came to my mind when I saw the numbers here - to show my DH that my spending is peanuts
