but, yes, this is a little shameless self promotion...or you might call it a call for help!!
I posted a couple of framed pieces last week and yesterday and when looking thru the gallery noticed that they are two of the very few that have NO comments at all. Are they that bad?? I planned to give one as a gift so PLEASE be honest...should I not? I'm not looking for just praise...if there are suggestions for improvement out there, bring them on!
Here they are: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
and Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Isn't that hard when we don't get any comments? OK - from a completely untrained eye... (I'm sure others will have better ideas). I love the Olivia frame. The colors were great - great for a 9yr old girl. It may be the gallery problems yesterday that kept folks from commenting. On the hydrangea frame - I love the colors and the coloring. Beautiful. The ONLY thing I would have done differently (but not worth changing) is the placement of the Prima flower on the bottom panel. Perhaps just SLIGHTLY off the flower instead of right in the middle. But that being said, I may be CASE'ing. Love it.
I hadn't seen your things in the Gallery till today and now I feel like I HAVE to comment on everything (though I have yo quit for now). Everything is so cute, fresh, clean looking, and unique. Thanks for sharing your ideas and talent!

They are absolutely perfect!!! I love them both. I usually don't replay, but I need to start. I'm so focused on looking that I just don't think about responding. Sorry!
Thanks everyone so much for the votes of confidence!! I feel like I gave myself a pity party, but it is nice to receive feedback...good and bad!! I am always looking for ways I could improve! I too am guilty of not commenting enough and will try to make more of an effort to do that going forward...
I definitely needed a boost today...this New England winter is starting to get to me...your comments really brightened my day!
Thanks again...
Cathy
I have to admit that I hardly ever leave comments in the gallery, but it's only due to a lack of time. Both of your pieces are beautiful and I think that anybody would be thrilled to get them!!

They look great to me. I didn't spend much time on the gallery yesterday, so missed a lot. And sometimes pretty things don't show up well in the thumbnails.
Your name frame for Olivia is very sweet, and the Hydrangea looks elegant, but I don't think the photo is doing it justice. Unfortunately a lot of detail gets lost with things like that.
Your friends will be glad to get them. They are quite nice!
I agree with bekster (not just because we probably have the same name). I love the Olivia piece - fresh, cheerful, and eye catching. The first one almost seems too busy for the already broken up frame. With a sectioned frame like that, maybe the images need to be a bit plainer?

You may just have posted on a bad day. Yesterday SU revised their website, so all of us demos were spending our day trying to log on and place orders, as well as figure it all out. They are beautiful.
Cathy, I love both!!! You did a great job! I may be caseing both. Could you let me know about what size the frame is in OLIVIA's? I would love to make that for my three great nieces--they would love them. They are both great! Thanks, Nina
