Some incredible, amazing, wonderful and creative cards!!!!
I just met a new SCSer on my Maddy Mason thread. Her name is Pam and her SCS name is 4hounds. She has been a member since February of 2007.
She posted a very heartfelt message on Maddy's thread and I thought it would visit her gallery, post some comments and show her some gallery love.
Oh My Gosh! I was blown away by the beauty of her cards! I don't know where I have been since February but I have missed some wonderful cards and I don't want you all to miss them....Take a look at her gallery....her cards are wonderful! After visting her gallery I had to shift to Plan B. Plan B is to come back to comment when I have lots and lots of time! I know you will enjoy looking!
Her cards remind me a lot of Markies Mom, who I think she thanked for inspiration. Their style is very similar. Both blow me away.It would take me 2 hours to make a card like they do. One of these days, I am going to case or try a layered card in the manner of which they create their cards. I am really curious to see how long it would take me.
I find it very interesting to compare the very layered card with the less layered card. Both can be lovely.....but the layered card always seems to catch my eye first (not taking anything away from the less layered card) because it looks more like a gift, or an altered box because of the dimensions of the card. I know they usually say they cannot put this type of card into an ordinary envelope.
They must go through the supplies really quickly. It takes me forever to go through a pack of cardstock. I once counted 11 layers on a card Markies Mom made. I started to think about all that cardstock she used. And dimensionals. I must PM her and ask her what kind she uses, so I can get the right distance between layers. (if I am to case  )
How do you add things to your favorites? This will be my first one! Awesome work.
At the bottom of the details provided by the Stamper of what she's used to make the card, you'll see a series of options and the first one is "Add to Favorites". Just click on that - it's that simple!!!!!
Wow TFS, I so have to get over my fear of patterned paper she may just be the one that does the trick. Love the work.
