I am slowllllly getting my stamp room cleaned out. It's an out of control mess!!! When that's accomplished, I will be working on thank you cards for a bride to be that I did the invites for. They are relatively simple so after then are stamped, I can assemble them while watching TV. After that ... the room will probably be a mess again so it will be back to cleaning!!! It's a never ending battle!
welll..making lots of cards....filling more boxes for the troops, made some graduation cards for my church bookstore. Always have plenty of cards to make. Making lots of Mothers Day cards too right now...
blessings.
I have a craft show in 2 weekends, so I'm preparing for that. Lots of Mother's Day cards/gift card holders. I also just opened up my Etsy store selling Rolled Fabric Flowers, so I'm making more to keep my inventory up

I need to make LOTS of thank yous for my wedding shower...I'd rather stamp for "fun" so I may break down and actually BUY *gasp* some cards. People will think I've lost it!!!! BUT I hate making cards because I NEED or HAVE to...I want to make what I WANT to:-)

Why not hostess a swap and elicit some help with the task. No one says all the thank yous have to be identical?
My ex-principal at the school I used to teach at asked me to make 200 pillow boxes for her son's graduation party and 30 boxes with flower closings for an appreciation luncheon at school. So glad I retired!
Tonight I will be finishing up some thank you cards I'm making for a couple from my church who own a moving company. They are buying 100 cards from me. I attached what the card looks like.
Then I hope to start playing with some digital stamps I just got recently.

I just finished all my birthday and anniversary cards for April for the family (yes I am behind the times but March threw a few things in my way and I got way behind so those just went in the mail too). Then it is on to May. And making Mother's Day cards and thank you notes for a wedding--need about 300 and need it reasonable that me a newish stamper can achieve. And cleaning my house and organizing my garage and and and..... Oh the oven is beeping that the cupcakes are ready so no more computer time for me--it was a lunch break computer time moment and now it is gone!
Just finished a layout today and made some door knob hangers yesterday to remind me to turn the dishwasher & start the washer..lol ..Hate gettin old!! You can see them on my blog if you'd like.

I bought a stamp set from Flourishes called Strut Your Stuff. It's a beautiful peacock. I have fineally colored it a way that suits me. I could not get it right no matter what I tried. So it's been about a year ago that I bought it. I will post my card tomorrow. Yea! Then I am back to cleaning my stamping room. I have too much for my small space. I am sure most of you can relate.
So what's everyone working on this week? (If you care to share pictures after you're done, please do!)
Me, I'm reorganizing my craft room. . . .
I am organizing a Craft Fair to be held on June 5th. All vendors are in place, most of the advertising taken care of...so now it's back to making the cards I hope to sell. So far I have 100+, but planning to have at least 250. I have a lot of "women" cards, am going to start on children, and then comes the most difficult..."Man" cards. I have a couple of golf related cards made, but am trying to think of other manly themes. I use a lot of 3-D embellies and find that there aren't that many out there for men. I have sports... golf, baseball, football, soccer etc, but would like to do some non-sports related.Any suggestions?

Thanks, Millie
Man card ideas--you havew the sports covered but what about the non-traditional sports such as cycling, hiking, camping, fishing, huntint, etc Some men are the kings of their barbecues (I know I just saw some great ones in the SU Mini coming out for men--a motorcycle and a barbecue one). Also things relating to boating--sailing, watersports. My dad is into trains and old planes. Not sure if you are into SU but that is mostly what I use and I know I bought a skateboarder, surfer, guy rocking out to a guitar out of the main catalog that make great men cards. Also they have playing cards--poker is really a big thing with some of the men folk these days. And construction/building/carpentry. Anything car related--sports cars, trucks, etc. There is the paper fold with the dress shirt and tie. Food and drinks. Billiards. Music--jazz, rock, country, etc. Gardening, farming, John Deere. Computers. Video games. I've seen some great wallet type cards too.
I bet that list will get you started--sounds like you are going to be extremely busy! Enjoy and hope it is a successful sale.
