So very sad...

So here I was, stamping up a storm, my first time back in my craft room since having my baby. I was creating these beautiful cards for the Stampin Royalty contest, and I was loving what was being produced.

Then, last night at the 3am feeding, I glanced down at my magazine and saw the fated words....

"All entries must be postmarked by June 10"

In my post-partum haze, I had completely spaced on the deadline.

*sniff*

No chance at a tiara for me this year.

Don't be sad there will be other opportunities. Just save what you have made. You will be surprised what will pop up. Keep your eyes peeled.

Cheer up!!

Hi!
Save it to submit to them.
Watch the magazine's calls and to find one to submit it to one it's applicable for. Paper Crafts (who does Stamp It!) often posts them on their blog (www.papercraftsmag.com/blog).
I just completed a term on their editorial board. Believe me, the magazine editors love to see cool stuff and are always looking for new talent to feature.
Good luck!

I was going to suggest submitting them for publication.

You may not win the stamping royality prizes, but a few magazines do pay for submissions. And some supply companies give you something if you publish something using their supplies and the magazine properly credits them in the description.

And as my DH says - there is all the "fame and glory" of being published........ he is so silly....

absolutely submit your cards for publication---and then you will get $$ to purchase whatever "PRIZE" you want!

Thanks guys!

I love to submit things to my favourite mags, I've yet to be published. For me it's more about the recognition than prizes (although prizes are fun too).

I just can't believe that I totally missed the deadline. I was even watching for the contest to come out in the magazine, since it's a month later than last years.
