I would like to add some snow on my cards. What would be the best product for doing this? I want a matte finish, not sparkly or glossy. I visited my local craft stores and they don't really have anything so I was going to check for products on line.
I agree with the Flower Soft. There's also a product called "Snow-tex" that is not shiny, and is thick, so it adds dimension to your card.

If you don't need dimension to the "snow," a Wink of Stella brush pen in White has a subtle shimmer with a chalky white finish, which is more or less accentuated depending on the color of card stock used.

This is great to know!!!!!! I like the look too, thanks for sharing!!!
I buy something at Micheals called Snow-tex ( it is not flat) and so, it kinda looks like this when applied. MIX136 Snowfall by JBgreendawn - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers (the white stuff on the dictionary page)
( I don't know if its is "the best" it is just another option that no one has mentioned yet)
Marvy Snow Marker...it is a pen, you draw it on, heat it and it puffs up. Alene's Snow comes in a jar and is matte or with glitter ...also looks great as frosting on cakes and cupcakes.
I use Stampendous Cotton White Fun Flock which has a matte finish & isn't bulky. I often mix it with glitter to make my snow sparkle but if you don't want that, just use as is. I will link to a card from my Gallery so you can see it (note that I added glitter to mine although you can't really see it that much in the photo).

I also use a Stardust pen to accent any snow. I bought the white Wink of Stella instead of the clear. I use it for other things but the cLear is the one and only one that Michaels dies not carry.......go figure.
White acrylic paint works well, too! And I use Twinkling H2Os for shimmery foregrounds - there is a Chinese White but I think the one I mostly use for snow is Icicle. Sorry, I've had them for years and the names are wearing off them.
I don't like to splatter my cards with diluted white paint because I always end up with a big blob or splotch somewhere that I can't hide. So I sprinkle the top of my card with Stampendous Frantage Chunky White Deep Impression Embossing Enamel and heat it with the heat gun from underneath. It melts right on the card.

Mine is coming on a slow boat, literally. It's been back ordered for months. I went to Plan B for my Christmas cards because it still says "on its way", and I cannot find it through another source.

Light texture paste looks awesome as long as you texture it. Not shiny. Mine is by liquitex. Just curious, why do you want matte when snow is naturally sparkly? For a night scene?
