Question Shameless Request for help

Hi Everyone!
I just posted a card to my gallery that is definately not my best work. :rolleyes: It needs help. I would appreciate any constructive feedback you care to leave for me.

Here's the feedback I left. Overall it's a nice card. These are just some observations:

I think the white inside layer is too much contrast against the navy. Try Brocade Blue with Navy stars. Also, there's some stray embossing powder which is a little distracting. The embossing buddy should help. I like the distressed edge to the main image. Maybe some brocade or navy sponged lightly aroundthe edge might help soften it? Overall, I like the card.

What about:

- making the words silver instead of gold, then also embossing the snowflakes in silver in a straight line down the inside flap of the card (the part that shows) and making the white part smaller inside so it doesn't show on the outside... Does any of that make sense?

- layering a color underneath the image

- sponging some navy ink onto the white cardstock around the image.

I was just browsing some member galleries and came across this card (purely coincidentally) using the same set... Maybe you could use some of the ideas on your card?
