I just wondered if the majority of you are seperating the merry and bright saying from the snowman in this set or if you are mounting it as is. I'm getting my set soon and I just can't decide which way to go.
I tossed it back and forth and decided to keep them on. A few sets I've separated and wish I hadn't, so I thought keeping them together was the way to go for this one. I just mask off the words when I stamp him by himself.
I should be getting my set soon and will keep the words on. I used my Upline's set and when I stamped the snowman, I stamped him on a square and didn't use the words. I'll post the card in the next couple of days and you'll see what I mean.
If you want to be able to punch out the snowman using the 1 3/8 circle punch easily, then I do suggest separating the words. I did what 11Valerie11 did and just masked the words everytime I stamped. But the whole image and sentiment will fit well with the scallop punch and the 1 3/8 square punch.
I mounted them in one piece, but regretted it. So I took off the rubber, cut apart the words and snowman and re-mounted it. I'm much happier the way it is, mainly because I can't be bothered to mask it all the time.
