sending criss cross cards-help!

do you write on the pull out portion that you stick in it? I have never done this or a pocket card before....do you leave the pull out thing all blank so it can be written on? stamp a sentiment on it??

Well, if I were sending or giving it to someone, I'd write a personal message or yes, indeed stamp a message, etc.

no you understood right,,,it seems like most of the examples I see dont have a sentiment on the pull out portion...or there is a large stamped image on the pull out portion...how do you write a personal message then?

also, i saw one that was using the new cowboy set and on the pull out portion was an actual card that you open, i think it was an invitation....
is that what most people do? so is the criss cross part like an envelope?? I wouldnt think you could mail it that way....
