Anyone else up and reading the forum this morning to get their "SCS fix" before the morning festivities begin? I totally am!!! Have a wonderful day everyone!!!
Sort of. My 16 year old is still sleeping after 8 am, as is my Mom, so after reading the paper, I left my dh to make breakfast and came to SCS for a quick peek. Merry Christmas!

I am, but mostly because we don't do anything for Christmas except show up at my sister's house for dinner. It's a day off for me. YAY! Another day to stamp!

I'm here for awhile anyway. My 21 year old son will sleep until probably 8:30 or so, my DH is on the computer downstairs, and I am in my stamping room on my brand new laptop computer!!! Whoo Hoo! Are you kidding? How could I not be on SCS with my new toy. I am in trouble now, I can go all over the house with this thing. YIKES.....Merry Christmas to you and yours........
I am home sick today. I am suppose to be working for Christmas instead I have a nasty cold. I haven't even made anything yet and I've been home for 3 days. It's back to bed I go. It's no fun being sick for Christmas.
hee hee - You made me smile cause I wondered if I was the only one who could not resist just taking a quick peek. I'm at my mother-in-laws house and wanted to see if I was missing anything on SCS. Everyone is in the kitchen reading the paper and drinking coffee. I'm so totally addicted to this site.
Yep! The cranberry salad is in the freezer and the rolls are good to go, my contribution to the gathering this afternoon. The house is quiet, the tree is lit, and it wouldn't be a right-day without my SCS fix (sorta like a day without sunshine?!) Peace and joy to all my SCS friends! Especially to those who are about to step into "complicated" family gatherings! (and lots of chicken soup for poor pjw!)
I am the only one up so far. It is 8:30 already and Santa came and my kids are still sleeping.. Sheesh.. What is wrong with them??? They do this every year to me.
However they are not aloud to come downstairs until we "check" (get the coffee started, put breakfast in the oven, get camera ready etc ) that everything is alright. which is my way of saying I want that photo op of them coming down the stairs and seeing that Santa came!
I just had to take a quick peek while I'm eating breakfast. The rest of the day will be crazy busy. pjw, I hope you are feeling better soon! Merry Christmas all!
Me Too! Waiting for my 3 year old grand daughter to wake up and start the festivities. I wasn't sure anyone would be stirring here, but I should have known better.
Merry Christmas hugs to everyone here. Take care pjw and hope you feel better soonest.

Yup, me too! Well, actually. my girls are already up, opened presents and ate breakfast. Now, everyone is deep in a new electronic toy, so I thought I'd stop by to look around. It's like walking through the mall before the stores open. Kinda' weird, huh? LOL
Have a Merry Christmas!

I'm here too! We celebrate the holiday with my husband's family on Xmas Eve, so Christmas day is for my family, which happens to live over 1300 miles away. So Christmas day is usually pretty quiet for us.

That's right - coffee cup in hand. Every morning.
We opened gifts last night and watched movies. My kids are grown up, so it is much more relaxed. You know you are old when you give your son a vaccumn for Christmas. :-D
My cinnimon balls are in the oven baking, and my DH is still sleeping. Peace reigns in my household! A little time here, then it is back to the kitchen for our breakfast. DS will be here for that, and so will DD.
Merry Christmas to all, and by best wishes to my SCS friends.
Merry Christmas everyone! Most of us here ( 4:10 a.m.) are still up playing with our new toys. Our big family celebrations are over and we sleep in on Christmas Day.
I, too, thought I'd just sneak in to see what's stirring. I did renew my membership to the fan club - I'm good till Aug 2008 now - and will be getting my freebie t-shirt from SCS. Too good a deal to pass up.

I'm here just about every morning..... if I don't have to work. ;)
LOVE this place...... I've met SO many GREAT friends!!!
My teen son is still sleeping also. He already got his "big" gift (X-Box 360).... the rest is just clothes!! I expect he'll sleep VERY late today.... he was up late playing with his X-Box.
I'm totally here! Our family is in NH and FL and we chose to stay in NC this year. It's rainy and dreary and I just want to sleep! We are going to the house of some church friends in a few hours. Should be a fun afternoon! Funny story - I woke up about 6:30 and got right on SCS. Outside of the mods I was the only one on GST!! Snort!

I couldn't let my day get started without my SCS fix! We have been up for a while, I'm on my second cup of coffee and we've opened our gifts and gave the critters their new toys. They are having a ball! Will be leaving in about 2 hrs. to stop at some dear friends first then on to my Mom's house where all the family will be gathered. It will be a fun day with my kids and grandkids, lots of yummy food and just all of us being together.
I wish each and everyone of you a very Merry Christmas and hope you enjoy your day however you celebrate! Pjw I sure hope you start feeling better soon! It's no fun being sick on Christmas!

Oh gosh - your work is always EXTRA SPECIAL! Thank you!!!
My goal for the new year AGAIN, is to learn how to use one of several digital cameras I have inherited to start my gallery catch up. But then again, I have only CASED.
This is how I start every day. A cup of Joe and my SCS. I had some baking to do for dinner at my sisters this afternoon, so I got up early and it finished now and it's not even 7:00 a.m. here in Washington state. Hope everyone got some great gifts from Santa and have a safe holiday season.

I'm the only one up in this house....... the boys that are home are almost 18 and 20. May be noon before they wander downstairs........lol
Our "boys" (a lot older) will sleep till AT LEAST noon as well. Makes for a lovely late breakfast with the DH and granny. I love this wind down time till we crank it up again in a few days for the new year's traditions.
Merry christmas everyone! I too have come for my daily fix. Just thought I would check and see if there was anyone here. It's 9:50 a.m. in Ontario. My 15 yr old is up but the 20 and 25 yr olds are still sleeping. DH is up and on his second cup of coffee. I am anxiously waiting to open those parcels in the living room. Hopefully there will be some new stamping stuff under the tree. Who says Christmas is for the kids!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone.
Are you just waiting for the big kids to wake up or do you open those gifts later today? Merry, merry to you! I'll cross my fingers for your stampin' goodies!
Good morning!!! I too am here with coffee in one hand, typing with the other. Funny, I needed my morning fix! My 14 yr old son is still sleeping and DH won't let me open my presents until our son wakes up!!! What's wrong with that kid sleeping IN on Christmas!???!! I guess I'm still a kid at heart as I was up @ 5:30 DYING to see what goodies Santa brought me!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!! GOD BLESS US EVERYONE!!
We're waiting on those big kids to get up so we can open our gifts. One's even sleeping on the couch in the living room! Maybe next year we should open the gifts at midnight. After everyone's up and the gifts are open and the turkey's in the oven and the cross country relatives are called, I can play with my new stamping stuff that is hopefully under the tree.

Oh, Lynne...
That is really funny and sad. Our family has always opened at the stroke of midnight so our delay of one hour was a hoot this morning. Granny couldn't find a few of her gifts, then wanted to at least box them.
Happy thoughts being thrown your way for neat surprises!
It's quiet as a mouse in our house this morning...dogs are sprawled out on the couch sound asleep, cats are curled up on the bed sound asleep right alongside DH who is also sound asleep. DH didn't come to bed until after 5am - he was playing his PS2 (not a new toy) and just couldn't stop. It's nice to see all of you wonderful ladies here this morning - I was getting lonely here at home ;)
