I recently bought Stampin’ Up! Lighting the Way bundle, I like the sayings but would like more options, even though these are fireflies or lightning bugs, I’d like to pic your brain for more sayings and quotes to go with any bugs? Ideas??

Here’s what I come up with

1. Happy anniversary you two love bugs.
2. Sorry you caught the bug, hope you’re feeling better soon

I guess being that there is a lantern in the die set, I could always use Light sayings too“Thanks for lighting the way“ from this set mentioned

“you light up my life” from Jar of Love

“There’s nothing little about the light shine“ from High Tide

“You light up the season” from Trees for Sale

Bugs and kisses
I have a set from Purple Onion which includes "You're as cute as a bug".
It also has "Bugging out that it's your birthday", but I've never used that one, I don't understand it. My only awareness of bugging out is from M*A*S*H when they move camp.

Sue's list reminded me of a Unity Phyllis Harris set which has a girl with fireflies and a Walt Whitman quote - "every moment of light and dark is a miracle".

Lawn Fawn "Little Fireflies" is a tiny little set. The only sentiment is; "hope your day GLOWS with happiness".

A couple of years ago I made an anniversary card for my husband out of lightning bug dsp. The message was, “You light up my life, but sometimes you bug me.” (Perfectly acceptable joke after nearly 50 years of marriage.)

Slightly off-topic, but the weirdest card I ever made was for a friend who had a lengthy stay in hospital with bowel issues. For a long time it was feared that their bowel had died, but then one day they managed to poop for the first time in weeks. At my husband's suggestion, I made a card which said 'sh*t happens' on the front and 'congratulations!' on the inside. My friend loved it.
