Oh no such sad news, may her family find peace and comfort in knowing she was very loved and respected person.
I didn't know her except thru SS but I felt like she was a kindred spirit many time when she would post exactly what I was thinking. I already found myself thinking, "wonder what she would have said" as I read through posts this morning.
Such sad news. Sending sympathies to her family. She will be missed here. Her avatar was such a familiar one.

I always looked forward to her posts. She was interesting and helpful and kind. I hope her family knows how much she was loved by our stamping community. She will be missed.
Oh gosh... so sad. She was one of the first people here to really welcome me, and to show me what a beautiful community this is! I'm still a rather bashful poster, but this is definitely my online "home" now, and Annette definitely played a role in that. I will miss her. :(

Annette will be sorely missed. She contributed a great deal to this site. I enjoyed seeing her input on various subjects. Praying for her family and loved ones.
Bugga's comments always lifted me up and she was so helpful sharing her vast knowledge of our craft. Truly a great, caring soul that made this a better, sweeter, kinder community. Hope her example will live on in me a little to make the my little family and community a kinder place to be. Thank you so much, Bugga! You will be greatly missed.
I was totally unprepared for this news. Annette was one of the first people I "knew" here. She was always quick with a kind word and so generous. How I got to know Annette was through another forum. I had commented on a card she made featuring cats (I noticed because of my nickname). She, without a bat of the eye, offered to send the stamp to me. That is just the sweet, giving person she was. Although I haven't spent much time here over the last couple of years, I will miss her dearly on this forum. My sympathies to her family. We have all been truly blessed to have someone like Buggainok touch our lives.
It's so strange to be grieving for a friend you never met in person, but Annette was such a special soul, wasn't she? She really lived her siggy line and I deeply admired her for her kindness. She continues to inspire me. My heart is so sad right now for the special someone she was and added to the world. Hugs to her family and friends.

Thank you for letting us know. This is such sad news. She will be missed on SCS. Is there a way we can send cards to her family? I imagine they would be blessed by the memories shared here.
Oh no, I am really stunned to hear the news! Annette reached out to me a couple of years ago as I was caring for a family member diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. We exchanged a few messages here on SCS and then we exchanged emails every so often. Annette was a very generous, caring, supportive and kind lady who was a very talented crafter and loved to care for her children and grandchildren. Even in the busy-ness of her life, she always made time for others. She will be very missed :
Oh my gosh...I loved Annette! I used to send her different stamp stuff all the time. I have been away from stamping for nearly two years and just got started again. I will miss her sweet self. I am so glad she went peacefully.
Such sad news, it breaks my heart. Praying for her family.
She was the one who told me about where to purchase tape for my tape gun. She was always so helpful and kind. While I never knew her, I felt I did.
I'm Annette/buggainok's daughter, Phoebe. It's been almost a year since my mother died, and I am still going through her things. I had never seen this forum post until last night, and I am so touched by the outpouring of sympathy from you all. My mother was such a special person, always optimistic and looking on the bright side. She was unselfish to the extreme and the world has been dimmer this last year for us without her in it.
She was not a religious person, something of an agnostic, but always strove to be gentle and kind. She called her cardmaking her "ministry of good cheer " and we treasure the cards she made for us!
We had a few lovely weeks with her here at my house before she died. I blogged about it at the time at buggainok.wordpress.com if any of you would like to read it. I urge all of you to not take anyone you love for granted, make amends, and don't go to bed mad! You never know what the next day will bring.
Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible <3
Phoebe-
Thank you so much for sharing with us. This made me cry.
This is reminiscent of my own mother passing from lung cancer in the hospital in 1997. It was 8 weeks. I was glad that I was with her when she passed and witnessed her. It could have just as easily been during the night when I was home.
I read the blog. You did a terrific job of caring for her. You were very intuitive to her needs, caring and gentle.
All our lives are dimmed with her absence. That is a good word for it.
Just terrible news....we have just lost 2 wonderful, talented and supportive ladies here in the past wk. Joanne Grzelak aka JoJot passed away as well apparently from a massive stoke.
My deepest sympathies go out to her family.
Thank you so much for your post! Her words, her hints and helpful comments made a huge difference in my life while I was undergoing treatment for breast cancer in 2009. I think of her often and am so grateful she was an active poster on Splitcoast Stampers. She so loved her family. I know her sweet spirit will be carried on by her family. Blessings.
