Hi Ladies!
So, I have been absent for a while, but God is opening the door for me to get back into my art & use it for Him! (Happy!) I've been asked to do the Monthly Newsletter at our church, so I was thinking I could use my art supplies & create unique Newsletters & run copies. (This could possibly turn into a weekly thing in the future.) I know there is clip-art out there for this, & bulletins that can be purchased, but our church is small & wanting to save some $$$ for the church, I will do the art myself as much as possible.
My question is: I know there are companies out there that have Christian images & Scriptures, etc. in Rubber Stamp form. Divinity Designs is one. Do you know of other companies???? Right now, I'm thinking of images for the fronts of the Newsletters/Bulletins, one per month. Something that would fit nicely on a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" format that would work nicely. One image I am looking for in particular right now, is a nativity set, that is more realistic looking, not cartoony. Thinking of December for this one of course.
Thank you for all of your help ladies! I've missed you! AND am looking forward to starting to play again!
I have found a few Christian stamp sets on scrapbook.com, from various manufacturers. I usually buy ones with motivational themes but they have some more basic ones with crosses, etc.
Good luck with the shopping and the newsletter.

Hi Becky!! Most angel policies don't allow stamped images to be mechanically reproduced, which includes photocopying - you might want to reach out to the companies and see if they'd make an exception for a small scale church newsletter - I think they might.
You know what I WISH a company would come out with???? Stamp images & matching dies of BIBLICAL CHARACTERS! Not necessarily all bunched up in one scene already, but some would be nice for certain Bible Stories. If you've grown up in church, you know about the FLANNEL/FELT images that used to be out there, & may still be, where you can create your own scenes as you tell a Bible Story! Just THINK about what you could do with stamped images for this! (Not to mention the uses for them for the church- Bulletins, Newsletters, cards for Sunday School & Church- Miss you cards, Coloring pages for Sunday School, VBS, etc.! ) It would be SO NICE to customize whatever you've teaching! IT'S ENDLESS what you could do with those! I would DEFINITELY BUY THEM ALL! ;)
You're welcome. You might check Touche' stamps. Not sure if there is more to their title, but at one time they had bought out Biblical Impressions and continued to sell their stamps.
There is another option too.
Think about dies-you can make stencils with them-like crosses etc and do silhouettes.
And then stencils themselves.
There is a lot of that around with Christmas launching but of course that will be focused on that vs general characters/sentiments.
I just checked ebay-there is a lot under Christian rubber stamps
I did general google search for "Christian rubber stamps" and bunch came up-saw a nice set from The Stamps of Life.
Then I ran it again for "Faith based rubber stamps" and tons came up...many companies have a a few sets...Penny Black, Gina K, 123 Stitch has some...
You actually have a LOT to choose from for sentiments and general images like crosses.
General Search under "Bible based rubber stamps" since you mentioned that...bunch came up.
Angel's Attic seems to be no more but it is a brand you could look for in Ebay
Crazy mountain stamps also looks to be no more but etsy has a bunch
If you look for things like shepherd stamps, etc you may be able to build a collection of characters you can use. Or ask specifically for the character you want...
And then lastly try dedicated Christian stores. They may have small stamp sections but they also could be foam ones. Esp under their children dept.

Biblical Impressions and Eurekastamps are at https://www.stamponit.net/rubber-stamps now. Sorry I forgot to list them! That's where I got my start in this crazy industry.

THANK YOU DINA!!!! I WILL check those out too!!! Isn't that funny? Do they remember you??? ;)
The companies have changed hands a couple of times since then, but I do keep in touch with the original owner. Fun fact - if you remember the Christian music of the early 80's - some of their artwork was done by the wife of Don Francisco.
OH YES, Dina! I DO REMEMBER the music of the early 80's! I've been actually looking thru my CD's & Solo Tapes here lately from those days! And I DO REMEMBER Don Francisco! I'll have to look for her stamps over there! THANK YOU for that FUN FACT TOO! SO FUN!!! ;)
The Greetery has some nice Bible verse stamps and Hero Arts has some nativity I believe, I think Penny Black has some Nativity type stamps sets also. Colorado Craft Co has a beautiful Baby Jesus in the manger in their "Feet" series: you only see his feet, which is really sweet, and the sentiments in the set are beautiful.
THANK YOU, craftydolls! The Greetery is one of my ALL TIME favorite stores! LOL AND the other places you mentioned, I WILL check out! Colorado Craft sounds VERY INTERESTING! I think I remember the one with the nativity now.... Will defiantly check them out! THANK YOU!!! ;)<3
THANK YOU, Dina!;) How on earth do you tell which is which, of her stamps? I noticed the SKU # & it started with "J," is that how? I also wanted to ask you Dina, Do you also need permission from the companies when copying die cuts? (Ex: Making a master & then copying) THANKS DINA!!!! ;)<3
If you are at all comfortable with digital stamps, I found this lovely set -- you get both the colored versions as well as the line drawings you can color. The nativity is one scene, but the others images can be added to create as much of the scene as you like. FYI -- I have not used this site so I am not familiar with the angel policy though so you would have to check with the owner of this store. Good luck.
THANK YOU, ALL! Art Impressions is one of those I have been collecting images of, just for Bible Journaling alone. ;) (Thank you, Saucy Stamper) And as for the digital images you directed me to Debbie, THAT IS A NICE IMAGE! I love the look of it! I don't do digital. This is one of the reasons I will probably have to contact each company, as you can't do all the techniques unless you have a laser printer. The ink gets muddy... BUT, THANK YOU for directing us to these LOVELY IMAGES! And THANK YOU to Cheryl also!
What happened to Our Daily Bread Designs? I haven't seen anything from them in years! I went and looked at Divinity Designs and the website looks similar, but their "About Us" section didn't even mention Our Daily Bread!!
Anyone know about this?

What Diana said... "Most angel policies don't allow stamped images to be mechanically reproduced, which includes photocopying ."
I use a LOT of digital stamps. Download them to your computer; place them into your Word or Design page; shrink or expand them to the size you want. Make one printed copy ; use the photocopier to make 100.
One company the does Christian digital stamps is Create with TLC or TLC Creations
