I saw a card that had 1 image stamped the way the stamp was and then they stamped the image in reverse so that the were facing each other. (hope that makes sense!) How do you do this?
One way to do it is to stamp the image on a window sheet. Then turn the window sheet over and press it onto the paper, where you want it to be. One thing to keep in mind. This image won't be as dark or complete as if stamped normally.
You can also stamp on vellum let it dry, turn it over and stamp your image again.
Use a background shape such as Great Shapes - ink your image, stamp in onto the background stamp then stamp under your first image.
Use a brayer - Reflection Technique:
Stamp your main image onto the paper.
Re-ink the stamp and roll the brayer over the inked stamp die.
Roll the image, which is now a "mirror" image, under the main stamped image for the illusion of a reflection
I know this has been discussed here before - try doing a search for more options.
The easiest way I know to do this is to use a large, solid stamp (think "Great Shapes" or the old "The Shape of Things" set). Ink up your image, then stamp onto the other stamp, then press to your paper. The image will be slightly lighter as all the ink won't transfer completely between stamps, but that can actually work to your advantage in some cases. One hint if you're trying to get the images to line up a certain way - stamp your reverse image first, then stamp your regular one using the SAMJ!
I've seen a couple of ways. The one with two Cool Cats facing each other was done on vellum. She stamped on one side; turned over and stamped on the other side, then "colored in" the first one so they were both pretty much the same intensity. The other was with Lovely as a Tree where the trees were a mirror image. On that one, the "author" had stamped on wax paper, immediately transferred to CS upside down, then stamped the other right side up. HTH.

Mirror Image stamp
Michaels has a "mirror image" stamp. It shows a couple of cows on the front along with directions how to do it. The rubber mount is a solid piece of flat rubber.
Or... stamp your image onto a plain rubber stamp (it has a big square of rubber mounted on the wood) and then stamp onto your paper. I think you'll get a darker image than if you use the window sheet.
You can also use waxed paper for another effect. Looks more like a reflection in water, or you can use a mirror image stamp. Just saw it at Michaels for $7.99 (I think) of course you use a 40% coupon..or if you have the set The Shape of Things...the rectangle is also large enough.
Another way is to go to Michaels and find a plin rubber flat stamp. Stamp the image onto the flat surface stamp and then stamp this onto the paper. I think that stamp runs for about 10-15 dollars?
