Default RAK usergroup?

Hi, can someone tell me what being a member of the RAK group entails? Thanks, Ami

It really doesn't entail much of anything.

Just whenever you feel like it, pick someone from the member list to send a RAK (random act of kindness) card.

I've sent some and received many lovely cards.
Members birthdays are posted if they wish. So you can pick someone or two or three to send a birthday greeting to.

That's all there is to it. And it's so nice to make someone's day by sending them a card.

sounds like a *great* reason to pull the stamps out on any given day . Do people post their mailing address too, or is there somewhere else to find that? I am going to join right now. Thanks, Ami

Once you join the RAK group, you'll see the list of people's names and addresses.

It's a fun group to belong to.
Enjoy.

I'll put a caviat in here -- don't expect to get hundreds of cards just because there are hundreds of members. I think I MAY have received maximum of 6 this past year and that included the 2-week extravaganza. But just keep sending them out and you may be surprized.

that's not a problem. I am not a SU demo anymore, and so I am mostly just looking for an excuse to stamp ;)
