Default question about March

My personal demo email is on the blink so here is my question
What has been your experience in the past with SU March specials. Is there any pattern to the ones they offer @ discount? You cant order for winter mini anymore right?

Not sure if I really understand your question, but here's my answer for what I think you're asking...

Yes, the winter mini is still something you can order from. You have until February 28th to order from it.

Then as far as march specials go, you can really check those out by looking on the SU! demo website under Comm. and then the back issues in Feb. But...I don't remember being able to offer NEW catty sets to customers in the past. Prior, it seemed to be ones relating to the current/upcoming holidays and you needed to order X amount (I remember it to be around $50 us) to order any or all 6 sets at the discount.

But SU! changes these all the time, and we don't have any info other than it will be 6 sets being offered in the 05-06 catty including Sincere Salutations.

Hope this helps a bit...

Actually, the note in the SS set indicated that it was from the 05-06 catty, but did not indicate the other 5 sets would be from the new catty. I hope they are, though.

HTH,
C

I think one year in the spring they did a special where you got a wheel if you ordered a set - wasn't either the set or wheel from the upcoming catalog??? I can't quite remember.

I can't wait!

Also the spring mini catalog will start March 1 to May 31. Hope there's some cool stuff. Hmm, those sets should be in the demo mag that comes out in mid February.

Hope I got all those dates right, it's late even here on the west coast!

Goodnight!

I gathered from your e-mail that you are not a demo, so you might be a little confused at some of the other replies....

The winter mini catalog goes until the end of Feb., so you will not be able to order from it in March. There will be a spring mini you can order from though.

SU has told us about the March special. There will be six sets available at 50% off. At least one of those sets (Sincere Salutations) will be from the '05-'06 catalog. They have not mentioned what you have to do to get that deal...probably spend $25 to qualify or something like that. This is the first time we have ever known about a monthly special (other than SAB) more than 2 weeks in advance. We know this time because they sent each demo the Sincere Salutations set in December.

So as someone who purchases stamps, would I be better off waiting until March to order instead of spending $75 CDN. to get a free set?

If you wait til March, there's no sellabration!!!

See, it's always something. The sets in March may or may not be something you're interested in, as a customer. I would go ahead and get what you want now, then you can decide what you want to do in March.

And there's a new mini catalog out for March, maybe something in there will inspire you!!!
