Question Putting A Link To A Card

When linking someone's card to a site, I noticed many of the stampers just have one or two words highlighted that links the card to their site. I have been copying and pasting the address which works, but I would like to simplify it. Would someone out there be kind enough to help this not so computer savvy stamper. Thanks

There's a step-by-step tutorial in the Help section that should help you out. Here it is: Embedded Forum Links .

Okay I'm back . Still on my phone but I'm going to do this anyway.

If you want to do the same thing in a gallery upload description, here is how but I have to add *s to prevent to code from working so you can see it. So follow this but leave out the *s. (hope this works!). I always wanted to put nice looking links on my gallery uploads and finally learned how.

Type [*url=
Then copy and paste the URL from the address bar just like in the tutorial linked above.
Then type ] again

(Remember to not type those *s!)

Then type the words you want the reader to see that will link, for example, My Blog.

Then type [*/url]

For an example, it would look like this - but no *s :

[*url=shadytreestudio.blogspot.com]My Blog[*/url]

ETA: that worked! Also don't type any spaces except for your words that make up the clickable link .... In the example, My Blog. I could have also typed Shady Tree Studio.
