I've yet to try using them, but I was thinking of just washing them out with a damp cloth, since they're lined with that "metal" lining. And maybe stuffing some newspaper inside for a few days to absorb the smell, as this works for tupperware and such with stinky smells in them.
An alternative..... I buy my son gerber fruit/veggie puffs. They come in a plastic container shaped sort of like pringles. But, there's no oil/grease and it's waterproof. I'm planning to alter one soon. Just a thought.
