Although I always ask for a pony for Christmas, birthday, arbor day, etc, which is why I received 147 emails forwarding that cell phone commercial where the husband gets a pony for his wife instead of a cell phone. "Does it bite?" "yes."
But don't get me wrong, I enjoy a nice rainbow, too. Especially with a pot of gold at the end.
ps-I'm taking tomorrow from stamping & surfing so I will have to wait until Monday to see the results. I want to see some good arguments for your vote! (there may be a special prize!)
OMG, this is a no brainer for me...puppies of course! LOL! I have 4 so of course I have to say that! ;)
Yes, rainbows are pretty but let's face it you have to endure the rain to get the rainbow, right? And, I personally am afraid of storms! Yeah, rode out a tornado in my car back in college (it looked a little like the Wizard of Oz but not as cool) so I'm not a huge fan of big storms! So, you get why I passed on the rainbows, right?
Now why pass on the ponies you might be wondering? Well, the first time I ever went to ride a horse, I was certain that I was going to tip the horse over by getting on it (yeah, all 90 pounds of me at the time, lol)...and was so nervous that I completly missed getting my foot in the stirrup and fell off! To make matters worse I was standing on a ledge that was a couple of feet off the ground and landed face first (not kidding you here) in the mud! No, I didn't get badly hurt except for my ego! ;) Since then, I have been horsebackriding several times and love it! BUT nothing replaces my love for my furbabies!
My vote is for puppies!

I see puppies and ponies everywhere I go but rainbows are a rarity in the desert. Once or twice I have seen a rainbow here without rain and at the time it was so humid it might as well have been raining!

Rainbows all the way...there's that pot of gold I've been looking for, and we seem to have a lot of double rainbows here over the bluffs and grand Mississippi River. I love to watch a summer storm roll in from my porch (not tornado weather, then I'm hiding below ground!), and there's NOTHING better after a summmer shower as when the sun comes out....it's all so glorious!
Puppies Puppies Puppies - We watched Marley and Me last night - puppies puppies puppies. Horses come in second because my niece is a horse nut. But she likes puppies too.

Puppies! Totally puppies. Mine broke a toenail tonight- poor baby.
I had a Rottewiler that broke his nail, he wouldn't put his foot and wouldn't let us touch it. We took him to the vet to have it taken care of. When the vet went to clip the nail. That big old mean rottie wet himself and passed out. Vet claims he never saw anything like it before. After that he was referred to as a sissy dog by the whole office.

Nothing is cuter or sweeter in my book than puppies! I love puppy breath, love thier little chubby tummys, just everything is irresitable and adorable!

Rainbows for me.
Was never into ponies - that was my sister.
Puppies are cute and sweet, but of the two I'd vote rainbows. I don't mind the rain coming first, either. I still haven't seen one of the upside rainbows that looks like a smile, though - I'd love to see one of those.
rainbows! Puppies and ponies are common (adorably cute, but common!) It's not like you see rainbows everyday. I've probably only seen 20 in my lifetime and I can remember where I was and what I was doing for most of them. I know they have to come after a storm but I don't mind the rain because I know my garden will be happier for it.

Do you know if there's a 12-step program for stamping? No, seriously, is there??
Most definitely puppies here. We just got a new chocolate lab pup (he's 11 weeks now) and I'm so in love.....

Puppies and horses smell, they require a lot of care, when you go on vacation a caregiver is required, they eat too much, and the vet bill is another added expense. Oh, and I'm allergic to them. ;)
Rainbows
The sun has come out again.... and there isn't any snow when it does! They are a beautiful display of God's creation. You don't need a stamp.... anyone can draw one. It's very common to see them on children's drawings. And without them, Roy G. Biv wouldn't exist. Poor guy!

Ok, this thread is very off topic of this website, but I'll respond anyway since it involves the most precious thing in my life.
I vote for puppies. My Golden Retriever, Welsh is my Service Dog. Yes, she is my child. Like any puppy/dog they lend emotional support, don't care what you look like or how you smell. They love you unconditionally with no exception. They're smart and can do physical things to make daily functioning much easier....pick up dropped items, carry the groceries. fetch items, etc. They are always there for you and won't leave you. (Please don't ever abandon them!)
On the other paw.....ponies are great too since they are can be used as therapy for children with physical disabilities. While riding, they can help with the child's balance and self confidence. They show the child they can do things just like other children without a disability.
Puppies/dogs give so much of themselves to us that we can never repay them for all they give. A person who has a guide dog as a companion puts his life in the paws of that dog to get around safely. How can we repay the dog for that? A Hearing Dog can alert it's person to everyday sounds around the home....door bell, tea kettle, alarm clock. Sounds that mean danger, smoke alarm, honking car horn, person giving verbal direction, etc.
Both puppies and ponies can teach children responsibility and that each animal does have feelings and emotions. They need to be treated with respect and most of all love!
Lastly, I can enjoy the beauty of a rainbow with my dog as we take a walk after a Spring shower. What better feeling is there than that?
By the way.....puppies are not naked. They are wearing fur! Puppy breath is a sign of life, but puppy poo we can do without!
