please help...su embossing folders
I just purchased northern flurry from someone, and the folder flaps dont match up meaning the back flap is smaller that the front. is that how it is suppose to be?see pics

Mine lines up at the bottom. Just try using it and see if it works OK. That's the Important thing.

The sides don't line up on either side. That's normal. I can't tell from your pictures if that's the bottom open end or the sides.

Guess we were typing at the same time. No, the sides don't lineup. That's normal. I have others like that.

those are my sides, the bottom were it as sizzix and su match up. I never seen embossing folder where it was not the same and even on all sides.

If it gives you any trouble don't lay the acrylic plate all the way to the bottom. That way you won't have pressure at the edge.

When you have edges that don't line up then you won't get imprints of the edges of the folder on the paper you have inside.
What matters is whether the images line up and they should as long as the hinge is intact.
I have a LOT (ahem :oops
of Sizzix folders, both theirs and SU's, and all of them are uneven on the sides.
