Are you doing the favors before or during the shower?

The 2-4-6-8 box is really cute and easy for either before or during. You can fill it with chocolates or M&M's done in your SIL's colors.

What about stamping a new wrapper for a candy bar. or a few mini candy bars or kisses in a cello
bag with a cute topper. Or maybe a bookmark or soap?

I think the Faux sour cream containers would be cute in vellum with stamped flowers and a little ribbon. My friend used them at a baby shower and everyone loved them. If you need directions for the containers, let me know

How about hand stamped candles something very soft, pretty, so many people love candles! I have seen so many examples in the gallery of candles that people have made and they are very, very cute.

Default favors

OK. i am totally a favors QUEEN. I love making favors, and everyone always loves what make. Just the other day, I was looking at this website where I bought the majority of the supplies for my wedding favors, and I found this:

http://www.rosemarycompany.com/3004.html

Its a tea caddy, and you can buy just the tea caddy alone, and then make the card, and the card is so cute because it says "Love is Brewing" there is also another saying that says "We suit each other to a tea, I love her, and she loves me!" They also have one that is for a baby shower that says "A Baby Is Brewing" . It would be cute to get the caddy and then attach a tea bag and tag that has that saying on it, or if you want to make it less expensive, leave the caddy out and just make a tea bag cover out of paper with the saying on it. Then you can carry the theme on by having the shower theme be a tea party, and have different types of teas, and tea sandwiches and finger foods. It could be very girly!
Good luck!!! I hope you find something you like!

I just did a wedding workshop and I did sour cream containers. They are very easy and cute. I took a quarter sheet of cardstock vellum and stamped the ring and Happily Ever After from the stamp set of that name in the bride's colors (Pretty in Pink and Sage Shadow). Then you apply sticky strip to one side of the vellum and roll it up - short sides - to look like a toilet paper tube kind of. Then you put another piece of sticky strip inside one end and crimp it - three turns of the handle is enough. Put a few Hershey Kisses in it, crip the top in a direction that is perpendicular to the other end. I don't seal that end with stick strip so they can get into it without tearing it. I use a 1/8" hole punch to make a little hole and tie a bow with ribbon or metallic cord. I also punched to hearts with the Folk Heart punch, one in Pretty in Pink and one in Sage Shadow. While I was tying them onto the ribbon, I talked about it being symbolic because at the wedding two hearts are joined as one. It was very cute and the bride loved the sour cream container.

I was going to post an attachment - there are lots of examples of sour cream containers on this site - but I couldn't get the page up, so just go to the gallery and do a search for sour cream containers. You'll see them.

Stamped tiles, magnets, dishtowels a napkin & placemat set.
Someone said candles, that's good.
Pen/sticky note set?

I alwasy think useful or disposable. Personally I find it annoying if I get something at these things that I feel compelled to keep but just stick on a shelf or tuck away.

Just a few quick ideas.

Default Bridal Shower Idea

Why not give each guest a cake slice box decorated in the brides wedding colors. Fill each cake slice with treats, wrap SU ribbon around the sides of the cake slice finishing with a bow. I will PM you with an idea. The cake slice template is on Donovans templates.

good luck!
