Question Photo Christmas Cards

Hi, all!

I am in a quandry here as I have had a request for one of my Christmas SAS cards to be a photo card.

I've never done one of these before - in fact, have never done a Christmas SAS!! - so any help you can give would be GREATLY appreciated!! I am assuming that the standard photo size would be a 4X6, or is a wallet-sized photo what is more popular to send? Like I said, any help you can give...point me in the right direction!!

I have searched the gallery and have come up with nothing, so I'm thinking that I am not using the correct search words.

Thanks so much in advance for any help you can offer!!

Lois H.

When I make my photo cards I use 4x6 photos and put on a 5x7 cards. I haven't taken any pics of my photo cards to post.

I have one that I did for all my Christmas cards last year. The best part is that it fits in a standard business sized envelope. I have several in my SCS Gallery. Here is a link to one of my favorites. Christmas Photo card by Stampingwithkids at Splitcoaststampers

FYI the measurements are 12 X 4 1/4 with the fold being at 3 inches.

Here's my card from last year..

Two years ago I made a card using the library pocket concept and put a small B&W photo on the pull out card. Unfortunately I don't have a pic of that one.

I'm sorry to be slow, but what does SAS mean? Presumably you're not making cards for the secret services!!!? ;)

I'm looking for a more discreet way of doing the photo card this year, i feel the family are too old now, but when I did a year without the photo everyone complained!!!

My favourite one is this one attached. Last year I took a photo and made it into a bauble - I was just about to start reminiscing about all the other years, but thought it might be better to put it in my blog instead to save boring you!!! http://timeforcrafting.blogspot.com/
