Default Organizing finished cards

I posted this in the wrong place, so here I go again

I have a great system for filing birthday cards that I have made ahead for family and friends' birthday.

But I am wondering if anyone has a good system for storing other kinds
of finished cards or even cards that are finished up to the point of adding the greeting?

Non-stamping organizers don't seem to have a clue about the kind
of stuff we generate.

Thanks for any ideas. Nancy

I have a couple of those photo albums with the slide in photo sleeves, and the cards fit perfectly in them. It makes it easy to take them to workshops as well....much easier and more contained than cello bags.

BTW....I just realized this when i was cleaning out my office this weekend....sooo easy and works great!!!

I have a basket that my daughters got me from Longaberger that I've put dividers in labeled Birthdays, Easter, Christmas, Baby, etc. I'm not sure if it was a special Mother's Day basket or if it is still for sale, but it was advertised specifically for cards & stationery.

for display, i just got a little photo album to use. it works, but it's bulky! i think i'll look into getting a larger 3 ring binder.

for personal use (to send out birthday cards, thinking of you cards etc) i have a card organizer. basically just a pretty box that has dividers in it (removable) with tabs indicating various holidays and months. i flipped the monthly dividers around and wrote in my own categories to give me mroe options. i picked mine up at hallmark a couple of years ago (they have them now though). i've also seen them at joanne's and another local craft store (crafts 2000 if you are near one of those).

a friend of mine uses a jumbo recipe box from the dollar store the same way i use my card organizer--holds standard su cards perfectly.

I have photo albums that I got from Century Photo with sleeves that hold the regular size cards we make. I also think maybe one of those photo boxes that you can buy at Michael's. They are pretty and have dividers in it to label your photos.

My friend is making a book where each page has a pocket that goes halfway up the page - it is very cool!!!

They sell similar items - Greeting Card Organizers - at places like Walmart, Target, and Office Depot.........

Personally, I store mine in shoebox totes from Rubbermaid - with labels on the outside, for easy locates.

Good Luck!!!

I use a photo storage box (the kind that looks like a shoe box) from Target that is a bit taller than the average kind (a little over 6 3/4 in). It has dividers that I've labelled with various occasions.

I use a 3-ring binder (think it must be the 3 inch or bigger size) with the pockets on the dividers. I divided them by month for birthdays and anniversaries then have a couple of 'extra' pockets for thank yous, friendships, babies, etc. I just did this at the first of the year and I like to sit down and do cards for 3 months at a time. That way, when something special comes up (like someone has a baby or gets married...something that isn't already on my calendar) I have time to make the card special.
