Default organizing cards

I am trying to organize my craftroom! Yikes!! I was wondering what everyone uses to organize their cards? I have seen cards placed in baseball card type sleeves, but have not been able to find any that fit my cards.
Thanks for any suggestions!

The clear plastic sleeves can be purchased at ClearBags - Promote, Protect and Preserve

I used to work for a local stamping store and I collected the empty envelope boxes from her. (The one that hold 250 envelopes). I store my cards in those, by category. I never thought of using photo boxes, I guess I assumed they wouldn't be tall enough. Great idea.

You can purchase the plastic sleeves in various sizes and per page in office supply stores....Office Max, Office Depot. They come in various sizes some may say baseball, some are photo sleeves in different directions. Not sure about Staples though....never tried there.

Personally if you need to store a quantity for some reason I would go with the photo boxes. If you need them for display for classes or demonstrations, I would put them in a scrapbook and attach to the plain paper inside the plastic sleeve. You can store several that way.

I store my cards in clear plastic sleeves in shoeboxes. Not sightly, but it works, and when the shoe boxes start to show signs of age - well, there are always more .

Another vote for the photo boxes - easy to sort by category, you can get then to match your colour scheme/decor, and they are usually very reasonable. I get mine at Michael's when they are on sale.

I have started a binder with some sample cards that I wanted to keep as well, but have just been using regular 8 1/2 x 11 page protectors, and mount the card on a sheet of cardstock.

I just replied to this same question on Two Peas. I bought this card organizer from Chapters (in Canada) but you can also buy it at The Container Store in the States. It keeps the cards organized and separated in any way you want.
