Default Omitting

I have been browsing some galleries, one of which listed "omitting" in technique. I searched "omitting" and still couldn't figure out what was meant by that. I could see no common thread in any of the cards. Could someone tell me? Thanks.

Never heard it called that before! I'd call that "selective inking" - nothing new under the sun, huh?

I've been omitting all along, and didn't know it. "Selective inking" does described it better. My thanks to you both.
