Gee, I've been asked that question lately... lol For me it would have to be
1- Loads of Love (and the accessories)
2- Stipple Rose
3-Sincere Salutations
Gosh... so many, but I LOVE Mon Ami. It stamps sooo pretty and has so many color combinations that make it look like a new set every time you use it. It's a TOTALLY underrated set, too. Awesome.....
I love love love Petal Prints and Heartfelt Thanks. BUT if I could keep only ONE set it would have to be Crayon Kids because I am a preschool teacher!! Can't live without that set for little thank you notes, bag toppers, and everything else.
Autumn leaf prints, for all my fall and thankgsgiving cards.and adults too.
silent night-for christmas cards this is such a beautiful set.
fishy friends -smaller kids,beach pages.
roses in winter.anything related to females, sympathy, birthdays, get well, florals are so versatile you can't go wrong with them.valentines.
girlfriends- teen girls
in the wild-teen boys
OOOHHH wait you said only 1 set.sorry 1 set can't possibly be suitable for men especially flowers on a teen boys card.
On the other hand word by word.has been a very popular set and could be worked out if done the right way for everyone. But you would need another set to go with it.
I guess I just can't narrow this one down sorry.

My very first set of rubber alphabet stamps. They were $15 at HL, on sale for 50% off--the classic font set. I love those so much, they are classic but also just a little different, I love them and usually reach for them first!
Ann
an oldie but goodie, I would take Watercolor Garden. I love that set. I over used it a bit, so I had to give it a break. I have recently pulled it out again.
Fave non-SU set would hands-down be my MSE Birthday Greetings set (with my SAR Christmas tree stamp kit a close second -- who can resist a 3D little tree?).
My fave SU set that I own would be tough, as I have a small number and got only ones that I really love. Probably LLS, because I have the matching punch (and punches have a hold on my very soul!).
Whatever my favorite-set-of-the-moment is (right now maybe . . . In Full Bloom?) I'm with Jerri Kay - I don't know what I'd do without Itty Bitty Backgrounds. Seems like things look too clean without a few little dots here and there.
the motorcylce/harley type one... cant thinkof the name...
i gave up all my customers and sold most my sets this psring.. but i couldnt let that set go.. with a dad who is a harley drivin HOG chapter member type of guy.. can't pass it up!!
Artifacts - great for masculine and vintage cards & pages
Terrific Tulips - an oldie and I can't seem to tire of it, I use it for everything else!
By the way, this is my first post! Been lurking for awhile and joined and I can't say enough just how much I love this website and how inspiring it is and how inspiring all you stampers are!
I absolutely love Simply Said and have been using it all the time since I got my hands on it. That and TAC's Little Tidbits (sentiments) cover all the bases for me except masculine. So give me Petal Prints or All Natural too and I am completely covered.
my first post, too! Couldn't resis replying to this one, though! My fave would have to be "Bareback" only b/c I'm horse-crazy! But it really works well for a lot of things...just use a different sentiment.
