Default Now I'm liking the lady bug stamp!

I just recently purchased my first papertrey set of stamps which was the lady bug set. I have been playing with it and I have to say now I REALLY think its a nice set..wasn't sure at first, but thought for $15 why not try it out..Anyways, I like how you can change the lady bugs antennaes..would've been cool if you could change the dots too..anyways, the sayings with the set are really nice too! Just my 2 cents if you are thinking about this set. I also got the Palette ink noir, but to be honest, I think I like the versafine onyx black better..thanks

Same here. I thought the set was really cute, but it is more fun than I expected. I just love that the long sentiment can be shaped and curved!! These sets inspire more creativity for me than any other brand of stamps I have purchased in the past.

How about creating a negative mask and stamping your own dots on top? Just a thought.

The sentiment curves so that you can punch out a 1 or 1.25 circle. Lay it under your clear block. Curve the saying on front to get the curve perfect. Then punch out with a larger circle punch and put a flower or the small ladybug in the center! Makes a darling gift tag too.

I just uploaded my first card too! Way too cute, I'm not usually a bug person! Papertrey has my love for sure! This was my first purchase from them and it was love at first sight, LOL!

I am having fun with their stamps, too. These were the first acrylic stamps I ever used, and I really like the clear stamps and blocks. I also agree that I find I get better results with the versafine onyx ink pad over the Pallette one. There's never a shortage of great products out there for every taste, and SCS is such a great place to read about (and get enabled to buy) all of them!

Has anyone considered cutting the teensy lady bug off the handmade by stamp? I am thinking I might get brave. Then I could use it separately.

I know I am going to do it before the day is out. I will get up my courage, because that little guy would make such a fabulous border!

I did it! I did it and it is fine! Now I can make little lady buggies in all colors for a border! It is darling by itself and makes a really cute detail on the curve of each scallop too!
