SU clarified the update so that it is definitely any, some, or all six sets with each $30 purchase.
well, when I first read the promo, it indeed stated you had to purchase $30 to get one set, $60 to get two, etc... so I stand by what I said about them "changing it"... whether it was simply misworded originally then corrected or not, the terms are indeed different than originally posted on the demo site, therefore changed....
and you're right, it IS to our benefit. I was really bummed when I saw the original promo since the LAST time they did this (last November) we could indeed get all 6 sets after only spending $30...
perhaps they really did intend for us to purchase $30 for one set at a discount, $60 for two sets, etc... but decided to rethink it after a few complaints and reminders about the last special....
How do they "send" you your demo code? I don't remember putting my email address on the form. Or do they mail it to you?
I bet if you didnt put your email address on it, you could probably call them within a few days and ask them if they receieved it, and could they give you the code.
Argh! I sent my paperwork with DC and it says it arrived Saturday but I haven't heard anything...wah!!!!!!
Ok, so I know they probably don't get the mail and deal with it on Saturday, and I know it's only 1:00 in Utah, but I just can't wait. Too excited!!! Hopefully I'll hear from them today so I can play shop and check everything out later!

Can I just say how much fun it is to read how excited everyone is to get their demo numbers and kits? It reminds me of when I signed up. I couldn't wait to get on the SU demo site and explore, or to get approved of the demo side of SCS or to get my hands on that starter kit! So thanks for posting, ladies! Hope this experience is as rewarding and fun for you as it has been for me!
Ok, so I just got two emails from SU. One has the subject line Stampin UP order confirmation and one has the subject line Stampin UP Password generated. Neither has a demo number in it. I checked my spam folder and there isn't anything there either. Am I missing an email?

Cory: When I got my emails, I only got the same 2 you did. I called SU and they looked up my demo number for me. Give them a call! The number is up above a bit.

I just emailed and got a response in about 10 minutes. Off to explore!

Cory,
The e-mail that has your demo number comes from Lana Limb with a different e-mail address as the other two that you received. The subject line reads:
Your now a stampin up demonstrator!
I mailed my paperwork this morning. I can hardly wait. I wonder how long it takes mail to get to Utah from Kentucky. I hate waiting. I am very impatient. It was hard enough to wait until this week to turn in my paperwork so I can have my open house in October.

I mailed mine priority Thursday morning from south Georgia and it got there Saturday. I think most people from east coast have been saying around 4 days.
I just got my information today and have been scanning the website for the last couple hours. Neat stuff!

I mailed mine from Iowa on Wednesday 8/22....but as you read above....I forgot to put my email address on it! Sheesh! I was just too darn excited about everything else!
I emailed demo support yesterday and they emailed me back this morning. She said that if I don't hear anything by Friday to give them a call.
PS -- I'm impatient too! I want my kit NOW!!!! Hahaha!

I'm in KY, too. I mailed mine last Thursday morning and got my demo number Monday evening, so about 4 working days.
I'm getting very impatient to sign up too. I orginally said I would wait until the end of September, but I will never be able to wait that long! But my demo just had a baby last weekend so I am trying to let her recover a bit before I start bugging her again. I guess I am lucky because I'm right here in Utah and that will spead up the process once I finally do sign up!
Thanks to all the great demos on here for answering all our questions and congrats to those of you signing up! I am only a lot jealous of those of you with your demo number and starter kit already!!!!
I think everyone who is signing up during this promotion is SO wise to do so. I've been a demo just over 5 years and this promo is THE most generous that SU has done. They had this exact one two years ago and I had TEN new downline out of it. So when your demonstrator tells you that this is THE best time to sign up based on incentive value, believe her!
.... and WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is such an exciting thread!!!! Welcome to all of you new Stampin' sisters!!! I have two ladies coming on this month myself and I'm super excited! They LOOOOOVE the ink pad special, but what really got them hooked was coming to one of our demonstrator meetings held by my upline. We have so much fun!
Good luck to all and we'll see you on the AWESOME demo-only side of SCS!!!

PS--there's no need to wait for an e-mail. Just call them! I've gotten all my downlines' ID's for them this way. That way you can be on the demo website learning stuff while you're waiting for that fab kit to come!

LOL!! Done that three times already. I`m just so darn eager to get in there and start fiddling around...GAH!!!
Maybe tomorrow
Can you place your 1st order as soon as you receive your id - or do you have to wait for something else?
You can place an order as soon as you receive your ID and accept the direct deposit agreement (so that SU can deposit your volume rebates and/of downline overrides directly into your account). Unless you are certain that you will never sell anything to anyone other than yourself, I would recommend finding a bank that offers some sort of free checking with no minimum deposit required and getting a new account for your SU business. Kepping your SU buisiness finances separate from your househod finances will make things much easier at tax time. The account doesn't have to be in a business name, just has to be separate frmo your household accounts, and you can do that while you're waiting for SU to receive your application so that when you get your demo number you will already have an account to link the direct deposit to.
And then you can start ordering like crazy -- LOL!
I'm not sure how to start a new post...... I am getting ready to sign up as a new demo and wondered if you can order from the dormant list....? Thanks Carol from the windy city....
Yes, you can order from the dormant list. This list only means that the stamp sets aren't in the current catalog, but they are still available for purchase. (It's the retired list you can't order from) ;)
I am having a horrible time waiting for my demo number. I am constantly checking my email to see if my number has come yet, even though I know there is no way that they have gotten my paper work yet. I just mailed it Monday. I just hope I get my number before the weekend. I really would love to spend Labor day looking around "the demo side".
Other than having a bank account number ready to give them is there anything else I can be getting ready to expedite my wait?
