Default New Spring Catalog

I'm new to SU and was looking through the Spring Catalog with much indecision. Which sets do y'all like best?

I absolutely like "Looks Like Spring", of course with the coordinating "Spring Bouquet Flower Punch".

"Unfroggettable" is also a big favorite!!!

check out the galleries here on SCS for samples from the spring mini. You can hardly notice it in the catty, but my favorite is the Linen background stamp. So far, it is the only thing I've ordered, but I must admit Looks Like Spring is darling.

The linen background is so beautiful. Makes the paper really look like material. I love it!!!

I know I am getting Looks Like Spring and Travel Sketchbook for my birthday this month. Personally I am purchasing Graceful Words (have both Wonderful Words 1 &2 and Small Script already), Dots & Daisies background, and I think Long Time Friend.

In April I am picking up the Punch to match Looks Like Spring, the daisy wheel, and Simply Said.

I have debated and debated on the Monogram Alphabet. Finally decided to wait and see if it made the Big Book this summer. I need more than 3 months to get the letters I want.... sigh... so it makes it and I am happy, or it does not and I am not out hunting for letters I wanted.

Not bothering with Linen Background , God's Way, and the envie template cause know sis is getting it. I can always borrow hers, right?

I've just ordered the Simply Said stamp set. I must say I liked it the best! I guess it really just comes down to personal preference!

I really like Simply Said and Unfrogettable. I think that Unfrogettable is just adorable for spring projects and also for kid's birthdays. There are some amazing samples in the gallery!

If I could have ordered the whole catalog I would have! I ended up with Linen, Looks Like Spring, and the spring punch plus the envie template. I was very happy with my choices since these seemed to me to be the most versatile.

Definately ordering the Linen BG. I want Cute Converse but we'll have to see about that one. Then My wishlish is

Looks Like Spring
Spring Bouquet flower punch
Shades of Nature

Non stamp sets
Spring Showers
Spring Flowers
Greeting Glue

Right now I don't want the envelope template but that may change if I see what 5 ways I could use the template.

Top of my wishlist is Simply Said and the dots and daisies background stamp. I love them.
Also, I will probably get Looks Like Spring and the punch next month.

I just got $200 from my mom for my b-day, so I am getting my order ready, too. I am for sure getting Linen, probably Faith & Hope, Probably Simply Said and Dots & Daisies, and probably Long-Time Friend. I hink I will wait until April or May for Looks Like Spring. My demo said she had issues with the punch, so I want to try it out first. I am also finally getting the Watercolor Crayons!! Yeah!! Not sure what else though. That will be a fun box to open!

I find an easy way to tell what people are enjoying the most out of the minis is to take a look through the galleries. That way, you can see which set(s) have the most uploaded, as well as look at samples and see if the reality of the set seems to suit your own personal style.

Default envie template

Could anyone convince me that I need that 5-in-1 envelope template? I just want soooo many sets, that I wonder if and how I would use that? Do you think IT might be in the big catty...I know the sets aren't supposed to be, but I thought maybe the other items might be.

Linen background is top of my list. Although I have Canvas, used my demo's linen and it's a totally different look. Then Good Things Grow, Simply Said, Looks Like Spring and the punch. Think there are a couple of other must haves but don't have catty in front of me.

Good Things Grow was number 1 for me right away, and I'm doubly glad after seeing the galleries... I also ordered Faith & Hope in my preorder cause it's adorable and I don't have an Easter set and kind of wanted one. I'm not too religious, but I'm sure some of my stampers will love the sayings that go with it.

I also preordered the Spring Showers and Spring Flowers paper, so beautiful...of course I haven't used them yet!

Now that it's actual ordering time, I think I'll add the Linen bg (it's really pretty), and I love what people have been doing with Shades of Nature.

I ordered the flower punch and must say its a doozie to get it working right. I had heard before it came out that they were saying it sticks...guess what they were right. After going through both rich regals and soft subtles, (for a camp) its not any easier. I can't wait to get Unfrogetable though, its absolutely Afrogable!!

Soooo.....consensus is the punch wouldn't be worth it? I was excited about it, plus the Looks Like Spring and Dots & Daisies.....and more! Thought about the envelope thingie but I already have one (from SU Catalog), just laid out differently. Do the things in these little catty's usually make it into the big catty? I'm trying to figure out how to spread out all the stuff I want over three months; would be nice if I could do it over 4 or even 5!
