I had that problem too. Tim has a great app if you have a smart phone. It has all his products listed, and you can just check the ones you own. You can also check the ones you want on your wish list. I just pull out my phone when I'm at the store to check whether I already have a color.

I'm not sure if it is because I'm in Canada or not but I'm getting frustrated with the availability of the new colours. We've had three colours released now and I've only seen one LSS in my province that has had January's colour in stock. I could order from the USA but the shipping costs and with the Canadian dollar losing value, it becomes more expensive than waiting for my LSS to finally get it in. I want to stamp my feet like a 3-year old having a tantrum. I want my ink! LOL!

They're slow coming in here in the US too. I just got the second color last week, and I've seen several posts by people who haven't gotten that one yet.

IMHO, I think it kind of defeats the purpose of a "Color of the Month" if you can't get the products during the month they are released. It's so disappointing that I'm not even trying. I'll just wait until they're open stock to get the Distress Ink version of the colors I want.
I buy mine at Joann.com - they are around $2.99 when on sale - can't beat that price

Here is a list of suppliers in Canada. It should cost less to ship from Canada
Many of the stores on that list for my province are no longer in business. Believe it or not, shipping within Canada can often be more expensive than having a US store ship it to my province. I will continue to impatiently wait but will refrain from really stamping my feet LOL!
