I found these wonderful wheel holders at Joann's. They are actually "spindle thread holders". There is a stand at the back so you can stand them on a shelf or fold the legs back and mount on the wall. I think there are two sizes of wooden dowls - I chose the smaller one and it worked perfectly. Each stand holds 30 wheels, even the jumbo ones and only cost $12.99! Just thought I'd share. I can't seem to add the picture.....

UGH! I hope we can see the pic. I am going to have to start searching for this one! I have been looking for something to hold my wheels. I plan on getting more as soon as I get the handy-dandy wheel guide!
Cool idea---I use a pants hanger(the kind you have 4-5 pairs on at a time) with the rubber stripped off. It works great too. I got them at Target in the laundry/hanger section.

I have one of these for thread for my sewing machine (that is not being used!). I think I will throw away all my thread and use my holder for this!! COOL!!
This is WONDERFUL! I have to head to Wally World today....I will see if they are there! What a great idea! I have alot of wheels and only have them in a drawer at the moment. This would free up that space, plus if I see them, I would use them more!

I don't own a holder for my SU! wheels but here's another wheel caddy. It doesn't hold as many as the one you posted and I don't know the dimensions, but this one may be a little more compact. Just another suggestion of what's out there to help us all organize our stuff.
I bought one of these a few months ago and returned it because, dummy me, I bought the larger-sized-dowel one and the wheels didn't fit! After that I decided that since I already have peg board up I just bought small straight hooks and now they all hang on that...even cheaper solution since the package of hooks was only a few bucks!
I got mine last night. My friend asked me why I couldn't wait since I only have 4 wheels but I didn't care! I brought it home and set it up. I LOVE IT! I love being organized using everyday, cheap items.
I just want to say that I LOVE THIS SITE and all the wonderful people on here. Where else can you find such wonderful ideas as well as people with the same addictions as yourself.
I've been storing my wheels like that ever since I started collecting wheels. It's great. I actually have it mounted inside my stamp closet. It works out wonderfully. I've got so many darn wheels I'm probably going to have to go get another one soon. They are located in the same isle as all of the storage containers.
I use 4 bar pants hanger you just have to take off the plastic on them. I also store the spools of ribbon on them.

I'm assuming that you had your wheels packed away in a box because they are so CLEAN!!!!!!! They are beautiful looking. I would want to display my wheels if they were that clean!
LOL I am afraid I am a little obsessive about keeping my stamps and wheels clean. Pretty much all of my stamps are clean as new (except the ones my friends got hold off!!). But then again, I try to use Going Gray instead of Black so it doesn't stain and I haven't really gotten into Stazon yet!! Guess I need to geet a little crazy!!

Stacy, I don't know you, but you're my kind of gal!! :-D It's always best to be prepared before the fact... just in case!
Happy stampin, or rollin!
