I came across a project in the paper crafts magazine on page 78 that lists crushed curry, dusty durango, merry moments, razzleberry lemonade as patterned papers from SU. Are they some of the new in-colors and what are the others?
Also, is there a picture of them, they are hard to tell from the picture in the magazine.
Those are some of the new In-Colors but from the way I understand it, that's the only sneak-peek until your demo gets their catalog in June. (Or maybe they can't show until it comes out in July?)
We have been explicity told not to discuss anything in the new catalogue, which would include the new in-colors and dsp, until July. Sorry... but lucky you...I haven't got my mag yet, so you're ahead of many demos in even seeing the sneak peek!
Oh the sadness. I just walked out in the rain to my mailbox and it was not there. (Sigh). Maybe Tuesday.
That's just ONE of the many reasons I gave up my subscription, lol. I got so frustrated hearing all about issues that everyone received ahead of me, that the grocery stores all had ahead of me, that I finally just said no more.
As to the sneak peek, it happens now and again that magazines will publish projects earlier than expected...I know in the past we've seen bits of new sets or papers. All we can do is enjoy them like all the non-demos, lol...we don't get confirmation from SU until we get our own catalogs. That's ok by me...makes for a little excitement!
According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Durango): Durango (pronounced [duˈɾaŋgo]) is one of the constituent states of Mexico. Its population is 1,509,118. It has Mexico's second-lowest population density, after Baja California Sur. The city of Durango is the state's capital.

Does that help? :p

No, it doesn't.

I just opened to p. 78 because I TOTALLY missed that! There are three decor type balls (like you would display in a bowl) covered with punched circles of dp. One is all greens, one is all oranges, one is all yellows. They look primarily celery, orange and saffron to me....hard to really tell what the new in-colors are like. Based on this peek, I'm thinking I'm going to be disappointed in the in-colors this year!!

Hey Joan.....SPIKE that lemonade, and I'm in!!!
I agree - it is really is hard to tell the colors. I didn't notice any new colors in the picture, I just noticed the names in the description. The colors to me look like celery, saffron, pumpkin and then a brighter orange-red, kind of like tangerine tango maybe?

Me too! Those were my faves of the last two catties.

I was wishing for the colors of sherbet
orange sherbet
raspberry sherbet
lemon ice
blue raspberry ice
etc...
sounds like curry - darker more mustard
dusty durango - darker than creamy caramel not cocoa
now razzleberry lemonade has some potential here!
these are strictly my first impression upon reading the names you gave, I have no insider info.
razzleberry lemonade doesn't sound like an in color to me. there is no alliteration. maybe it is a designer paper?? maybe the in color is ra ra razzleberry? or lucky lemonade? or, it is time to go to work and quit this fun???

You might be right Joan, they listed them as designer series paper, I was wondering why razzleberry lemonade started with two different letters, but I thought they listed them as prints designer series paper.

I am SO excited for the new colors. I got to see them on the Hawaii incentive trip and they are GORGEOUS. That's all I can say, but you will not be disappointed--they're scrumptious. And with the DSP to perfectly match--I'll be in heaven!
It's funny when you think of how I used to not buy them at all and now I can't wait for the new ones! I have really done an about-face on this topic. I really really liked this last set once I jumped in with both feet.

I'll bet there are two different colors... razzleberry... and lemonade. ((I have no real idea, only a guess)). The reason is bc they haven't done a fresh yellow in an 'in color' and it's time for a light, sweet yellow! I'm picturing razzleberry as a blueish berry, kinda purpley. It's fun just to guess!
I just know I always end up liking them, whatever they are. I'm going to have a very very hard time without my Riding Hood Red! What an amazing red! It's bold without being too bright. My little stampin-up heart bleeds RHRed!

I'd love to see a purply color and a nice new yellow would be good too.
Just got my mag also and noticed right away the new colors- plus saw a blurb on the net about two more: Soft Suede and Melon Mambo. That article mentioned Rich Razzelberry- which would make sense in a way because of the first letters being the same like all other SU! colors...........humm, very interesting for us non-demos.

Sounds interesting. I can't wait to see them all. I know I won't be getting all the ink pads (due to money issues), but will for sure get the assorted card stock pack. That is what I did the last couple of times and then got full packs if I really loved the colors and ran out. I am not stocking up though, because from my experience I haven't used them that much anyway after the new colors came out.
Can't wait to see them all.
Ack!!! The suspense of what these colors look like is driving me CrAzY!!!
Is it legal to scan in or post a pic of the project(s) in the new mag? If no, then please don't b/c I definitely do not want anyone to get in trouble... but if yes, can anyone share the sneak peak?
I hate waiting for surprises sometimes!!!
